This modern one level property boasts heritage charm of the low-lying coastal plain in which it is situated within. The modern open plan living / kitchen / dining area is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows making this the ideal place to watch the grey clouds roll in from the comfort of the couch in front of the fiery gas log, or to enjoy the sunrise on a summer morning from the river side decking equipped with generous lounge and outdoor setting. Equipped with 3 bedrooms with King or Queen Beds; one with ensuite bathroom, the others best serviced by a centrally located bathroom with walk in shower and bath along with separate powder room toilet. Lovely ground floor apartment right on the river! Clean & beautifully presented. Spacious bathroom, kitchen equipped with everything you need, clean barbecue on the deck, comfortable beds & great lounge room for relaxing & watching the boats go by & the moon rising! Stunning views from every angle. The apartment was warm and inviting, beautifully furnished, an absolute delight to stay in! We had 1 small issue with the TV casting to the TV upstairs but it was soon sorted out. You couldn't ask for a better location. Enjoyed an early morning walk around Griffith Island & received a wave from Sammy the seal. Port Fairy turned on the charm and the best weather ever! We will be back.

Perfect Location

Somerset on Moyne was a perfect location on the Moyne River. Plenty of directions to walk, including to the beach. Convenient walk to the town centre and restaurants. Throw a fishing line just out the front whilst spectators can enjoy a drink on the balcony. We enjoyed our first visit to Port Fairy. We will definitely return.

Beautiful property in prime location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was absolutely beautiful, in the perfect location for walking into town or relaxing watching the boats go past on the Moyne. Our first visit to this beautiful property and port fairy, but certainly won’t be in our last.

Beautiful property!

We had a fabulous weekend in this gorgeous property. Location was terrific, we walked everywhere. Only hiccup was that we arrived at the property just after 3pm and the cleaners were still there so we had to go for a walk until they finished getting ready for us. We will definitely be going back to this property!

Beautiful home by the Moyne River, outstanding views, close proximity to town...easy walking, also Griffith Island excellent to walk around...sitting on the porch chatting to the many locals and tourists whom walk past, watching the many boats sail in and out of the river, the local seal doing laps and a huge stingray also glided by - just had the best time, cannot wait to return.

We love visiting Port Fairy and this is the 2nd time we have stayed at Somerset on Moyne. We do enjoy the apartment and its location and view however it was a hot week and found that as there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms it was quite warm at night to sleep. The main shower was not checked for hair remaining in the grate and also the dishwasher should be checked for rinse aid and cleanliness. Overall we are happy and look forward to visiting again.

Highly recommend this property to anyone needing instant relaxation. The view is amazing, location is perfect and the owners have managed to make it feel homely but brand new. We shall be back. Thanks for the stay.
