The first best baecation

This was my first time going on a vacation with my girlfriend. When we got to the guest house the receptionist was very assistive. The best part when we entered the room, it was soo clean and had a nice scent. Everything was in place and any requests we made were attended to very quickly. The receptionist was very informative as to what they offer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for nice time or business trip or to stay with family.

The Breakfasts were remarkably good with great variety. Rooms were serviced regularly. TV was difficult to access serious newscasts.

Convenient nice hotel for airport

It looks like the guesthouse has been recently refurbished so is in really good condition with spacious rooms and nice bedding, however the shower water was cold and we couldn't get the ceiling fan to work at night. Very close location to the airport though the route google maps took us for the short drive felt a bit dodgy so I would plan that in advance to avoid the roads near the township. The breakfast was fab and the staff friendly. Hotel had secure parking.

Stort och fint rum

Stannade en natt för fortsatt färd nästa dag. Anlände sent på kvällen. Köket var stängt men den underbara kvinnan i receptionen gick in och ordnade mat åt oss så att vi blev mätta och belåtna. Gratis WIFI på rummet är toppen. Stort och rent rum.

A so- so venue

I was on ab usiness trip and needed a decent place for the night. The stay was alright but there was no hot water and the staff could have had a more positive attitude to things. Checking out seemed to take forever as the staff at the front desk were more interested in being in the kitchen.

The hotel seemed to be very quiet and not very busy, We had a balcony room with a lovely view over the pool/garden . Pool did not look very inviting though as it needed cleaned. Room very comfortable. Staff great, Very helpful and pleasant, though it did seem that they needed more of them!

Nice Jumping off Point

After 25 hours of straight travel, the Victoria & Alfred Guest House was a wonderful place to lay our weary heads before we began our trip along the Garden Route to Cape Town. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. It was also a very good value for the money. It suited our needs perfectly.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price

We enjoyed our stay at V&A Guest House. The staff and reception were warm and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. It is an older hotel, but that gives it the charm. It seemed to be in a very safe area and there was a security gate. I would recommend this hotel

Nice place

We arrived in Port Elizabeth airport so we used this hotel just for one night before we started our trip to the Garden Route. The family room is very comfortable and very well done. The main thing is that it was clean and the bathroom had a shower and a bath tub. Breakfast was OK, nothing really special. It was a selection of cooked English breakfast and cold meat, bread , jam , butter. This hotel is definitely value for money.
