    Why You'll Love It:

One of the few Port Douglas holiday homes that comfortably and practically sleeps 14 — with five separate bathrooms ensuring no bottlenecks for large groups
The dual-pavilion design gives the group natural separation — one pavilion for sleeping and sitting, the other for cooking, dining and living — without anyone feeling isolated

The kids' domain is a genuine asset for family groups — four singles, a modern ensuite, separate bath and its own entertainment area keep younger guests happy independently

A private back gate leads directly to Four Mile Beach — one of Far North Queensland's most celebrated stretches of sand — without touching a road
A private path connects the property to the Ramada Resort bar and restaurant next door, adding an effortless dinner or cocktail option steps from your pool

The heated pool and splash pool combination works for every age group — adults lounging, toddlers safely splashing, kids in between

Day trips to the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge and the Atherton Tablelands all depart from or near Port Douglas
    Living, Dining & Entertaining

The two pavilions are connected by a breezeway and work together to create a home that feels both spacious and sociable. The main entertaining pavilion houses the kitchen, dining, living and rear patio — the kitchen is fully equipped with a modern island bench, ice maker, triple-door fridge and everything needed for self-catering at scale. The dining area seats the group comfortably, and the main lounge with large smart TV and Foxtel opens directly onto the rear patio, where a BBQ and alfresco dining table overlook the tropical garden and palms. Cream Italian granite tiles run throughout, giving the interiors a clean, resort-like feel.

The second pavilion provides a quieter counterpoint — a cosy sitting room with large LCD TV and two master bedrooms with ensuites, offering a retreat from the main living hub when the group wants to spread out. The portico entrance, open to the pool area and fitted with outdoor lounge seating and a dining setting, functions as a natural gathering point throughout the day — for morning coffees, afternoon drinks and everything in between.

The outdoor spaces at Pavilions in the Palms are the heart of the property — a heated 8-metre pool and 2.4-metre splash pool sit centre stage, surrounded by a generous tropical lawn where guests have been known to play backyard cricket and kick a footy. The rear patio with BBQ and alfresco dining overlooks the garden and palms, and the airy portico at the front provides a shaded poolside lounge from morning to sunset. A private back gate leads directly to Four Mile Beach, and a private path connects to the Ramada Resort next door for cocktails or a meal out.

Pavilions in the Palms is located on Sonata Close in Port Douglas — a quiet residential street that feels a world away from the busy end of town while remaining walking distance from the beach, restaurants and the Port Douglas Sunday Markets. The Great Barrier Reef tour operators, Mossman Gorge, the Daintree Rainforest and the Atherton Tablelands are all within easy driving distance, making this an ideal 5 bedroom Port Douglas holiday home base for a full Far North Queensland itinerary. The perfect retreat

We ran our first yoga retreat from this property and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Well you are close to everything you literally feel like you are worlds away and this magical little retreat. Being able to use the Ramada in spa next door was just a total bonus and walking to the beach made you feel like you were in your own little paradise. I wish I could’ve taken that kitchen home with me it literally has everything you could possibly want and even though we had nine people on a retreat with all of the separated living areas and bedrooms you never felt like you couldn’t get your own time and space. We will definitely be back and are already counting the days for when we can do it all over again. Plus the property manager was an absolute dream to have on my side. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience and stay. Xx

Holiday haven

Beautiful property with many areas to space out and relax. Lovely welcome gifts were given on arrival. The owner was very accomodating and prompt with any issues we may have had.
