Loved the pool and balcony view
Our 5 days at this ocean-view property were wonderful and we would love to come back. The apartment is on the top story of three stories, but built on a hill so you park you car at the front door of the apartment and don't have the carry any bags up stairs. Once you enter the small kitchen is on the right and the hallway leading to the bedrooms. The lounge and large balcony are directly ahead and provide lovely views over the pool and ocean and mountains. Amazingly there is NO biting insects so we sat outside every night on the balcony drinking wine. It was bliss. The saltwater pool is beautiful - it's just perfect for a morning and afternoon dip and a good length to swim some laps as well. We cooked a little in the kitchen - it is small but functional and had all the utensils we needed. The apartment is ideally located, parallel to the main street of Macrossan so you are close to all the shops, but from the apartment you really only see the pool and ocean, not the main street. We loved this place and know you will too!

Don’t try to make a left hand turn out of the driveway!
Apartment 9 is perhaps the best in the apartment block because the balcony is just at the level of the tree line and has clear views of the bay and mountains of Port Douglas. Also the car park is on the same level as the front door of the unit, hence no stairs. Swimming pool is one of the best we have had in an apartment block, kids spent all day there. Amenities are all excellent, you will enjoy everything. Minor warning: don’t try to make a left hand turn out of the driveway (especially at night) into Murphy st, there is a deep culvert on other side of the road. I dropped my right front wheel it and needed to call the RACQ to tow me out!

Truly wonderful break
We can’t fault this lovely property and its location. Walking distance to all the local walks, shops, cafes etc, great outlook and fabulous access to amazing Daintree, Mossman Gorge and Cairns. We are going home with very big smiles!
