"There was a musty smell in our room on the first floor, we bought a candle to try and mask it. Bed was comfy, fridge convenient. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We did not use the pool or hot tub but they were clean with plenty of seating around them. Dog friendly place and all the dogs we ran into were well behaved. Convenient starting and ending point for the daily things we did, Punta Gorda farmers mkt, Fisherman’s Village, Venice and Englewood beaches, Sharkeys in Venice we liked so much we went 2 days in a row, sat at outside bar, food, drink, and staff were great. Met a couple locals who gave us great points of interest and they were very friendly, trying to convince os yo leave NJ for FL!!"
