I loved the view from the dining area. The beds were comfortable. I was really impressed with the kelpie greeting me when I pulled up in my car out the front. I got out of my car and was led around the back where the office was.

It was a hotel, good enough for a 1 night stay, what I didn't like was for my credit card details in order to cover any "incidental that might occur" before he gave me the key safe combination & that apparently being an Australian owned & operated hotel, the call centre appeared to be in India.

Check in was easy and friendly. Unfortunately the room smelt unbearable from cooking spices. Reception moved us into an alternative room. Rooms are clean, but very dated and very dark and depressing (not all all like the photos). Next door to a 24 hour servo right on the main highway, so very noisy and can not open the windows due to the dust and fumes. Originally booked for 2 nights, but reduced it to 1 night and moved on. Reception were very helpful and understanding.
