It’s a nice place and quiet to stay,staff was wonderful,it was great to have so many people looking after you,food was excellent,I really recommend it for anyone who travel to Haiti but there only one issue (AC ,your cooling system works only when there’s no power outage) other than that they have electricity for everything else. The services that they gave you are better than a 5 star hotel in the USA because 5⭐️ hotels don’t clean your rooms anymore in USA.

My stay at Pavilion
Last year I visited Haiti and stayed at Pavillon des réceptions.; so when I had to travel again this year (2020) I booked at Pavillon again, it’s home away from home, the staff are so friendly and always there to help. Upon leaving on my way at ti the airport I had a very pleasant surprise; there were 5 of us and we couldn’t fit in the car; well the owner looking at the scene seeing us trying to fit into the car was kind enough to offer to take us to the airport, I was so surprised and very grateful. For sure Pavillon is officially out place away from home. Last but not least the hotel is very secure, away from all the wahala that occurs sometimes in Haiti. Definitely will recommend this Hotel to friends and family.

Home away from home
I was very pleased with my last trip and loved my day at Pavilion. The staff are great, very nice and so friendly. I went for 7 days and ended up staying for 3 weeks. I highly recommend this Hotel

Stayed here with our 4 children trying a "new" hotel. It was very empty, the pool was dark green, the grounds weren't very nice and dinner took 2 hours to get. The air conditioner broke about 8 times. They came to fix it over and over and we really couldn't go to sleep. Poor systems and not kind staff. It did rain before dinner and the exit to our room to the downstairs is exposed tile and was so slick my husband fell while hold our little son. Just a poorly designed place. The owner wasn't very nice to us and it really felt like a high price to pay! We have found significant nicer hotels for less money closer to the center of PAP. Bel Fle & Servotel are wonderful!

Great Hotel
It was very pleasant and lovely. Nice staff, the owner Mrs Petit is extremely nice. Great breakfast every morning. I enjoyed staying there.

The hotel was clean and had great service was able to watch TV and had several channels. Breakfast was sent to the room each morning. I was definitely go again.

Fantastic interior, great staff, great value
I originally checked in Sunday, to depart Tuesday. Long story short: Loved the place, ended up staying until Friday. Owners were so nice to talk to as was the staff. Nice little bar, ice cold Prestige (as in most bottles they give you have a little ice on them...mmm). Food was good w/a smaller but varied selection, anything from chicken wings to Haitian dishes. There was seating available all day in the open-air lobby as well as an open-air seating area on the 2nd floor.

Amazing hotel staff
This hotel provided me with more than I expected from them. Don't think you're going into a 5 star hotel but this is a nice tucked away facility. The place was always secured and they make sure you have a good time by hosting different events throughout the week. Breakfast is complimentary and the hotel staff is superb. My favorite was Stanley! He was so welcoming and great with people. He knows how to put a smile on your face and make you feel comfortable. Nonetheless all the staff was accommodating. I will definitely return to this hotel when I decide to make another trip.

Great hotel, friendly staff
I was supposed to arrive in Port-au-Prince around 8 in the morning and was worried about to stay at as I read the checking time was 3 PM. The day before my trip, I spoke with the receptionist who kindly told not to worry, she would find a nice room for me. That was done just as she said.

I enjoyed very much my stay at Pavillon des Receptions hotel. The staff wswa doin a good job. Everybody was very nice including Dave, Stanley,BeBe, Roodlande, Iramson (Sonsonn), Bernard, Paloulou,Gisele et Fabienne makes sure everything going smoothly with me . Fabienne was very nice to me. For room cleanliness Dieula, Karine et Celestin Kept my room impeccable and they were very kind.Celestin was very helpful to me early in the morning before leaving for New York. Felix the driver was very helpful to me.Any problem that I addressed to Dave, BeBe, Roodlande or Fabienne in term of AC, they tried their best to give me satisfaction. Overall I would recommend Pavillon des Receptions without hesitation to anyone.The location of the hotel is good place and it is safe.

Overall it was a great place people were really nice and the friendly. The room was a little smaller then I am used to for a hotel however it was very clean and they bought the breakfast to the room every morning. The Wi-Fi was available, cable in the room and a DJ on Friday night. Only negative was the air-conditioning would give out in the middle of the night however staff did their best to fix it and was apologetic (was not hot at night anyway).

Nice hotel, very clean
I really enjoy my stay at this hotel with good breakfast, the cocktail in the bar, nice and professional staff...if you plan to go to town or the airport, you'll find the hotel' shuttle. Clean room with 24 h AC, wi-fi, CNN, Univision, France 24, Fox news etc...

Good place to go on a low Budget ,very friendly .

Quick Weekend Break
This hotel is tucked away from the craziness of Port au Prince. It's in a quiet and safe suburb-like area of Petionville, surrounded by large gated homes. The hotel offered transportation from and to the airport at a great rate. I was also able to use the chauffer's services at a nominal fee to go into town to make some purchases. The room was as described and clean. The air conditioner's lowest temperature was 18 degrees celcius and would cut off periodically, but would start up again after about 20 mins or so. There was a cieling fan to keep cool when the A/C would shut off. The matress was super firm/hard and didn't yield at all, but since I was only staying for two nights, I didn't complain. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The proprietor, Mrs. Jocelyne Petit, was pleasant and always asked if everything was ok. The in-house restaurant is convenient and the bar was always fully stocked. I saw some people hanging out poolside but didn't join them. All in all, my husband and I shared a relaxing couple of days together and totally forgot I was in Haiti.

If that's the case, I am truly sorry if an item of yours was misplaced or lost; however, there has not been any guest report of anything being lost or misplaced. If so, the issue would have been addressed immediately and the appropriate action would have been taken. The Hotel was Not is a part of Pettionville I have been before so I had a little trouble finding it. However , Linda, one of the associated owners came all the way to El Rancho to pick us up. Very Friendly and Courteous. If you are used to Haiti, then this is a fun and relaxing Hotel. The staff is laid back but friendly and service oriented. The food is Tasty and COLD Prestige is always available. They take Credit Cards as well. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Nice Garden and beautiful swimming pool which is shared with the Casino next door. A Truly Great little get away IF you are used to Haiti. If you are not, then this won't do for you. It is Not the El Rancho or Oasis. Do not expect grandiose entry ways or High end Shops. But , you also are Not paying those prices either. A very Pleasant time was had by My Wife and myself.

Unfortunately, the public roads/access may be a little challenging, but we have no control over that. We have made many requests and petitions to have "public works" address the road to the hotel, but as most processes in third world, this process is slow, therefore a little patience will be required. However, we are pleased that you were pleased with what we could control. Come again.

Where's the restaurant?
The hotel grounds are nice and the rooms are sufficient but the hotel and bookings from this site are ran by someone in the states which made getting my reservation confirmed a little time consuming. There really isn't a restaurant, just a few tables in the main lobby/foyer area. The morning breakfast; spaghetti, bread, and coffee which is a Haitian breakfast was not the best. My husband, who is Haitian, did not like the spaghetti, confirming that it wasn't just me. The room location for a younger couple seemed silly and was a little awkward. Our room was on a corner surrounded on all sides by a hallway, staircase, and even a little sitting area near one of our not so soundproof windows, ugh. It's not as if there weren't other rooms available because they clearly mark that on a whiteboard at the front desk. The rooms mini fridge didn't close all the way so I put one of the chairs up against it to keep it shut. The worst part about our room was that the quilt coverlet on the bed needed a good washing. The thing smelled like it had been well used by a few other couples. I know Haitians to be very cleanly and the way they wash can take grease out of fabric so I imagine the infrequent washing of the bedspreads in an administrative decision and needs to change. I love Haiti and when I got to a hotel in Haiti I expect to recieve Haitian hospitality right down to the cleanliness of the bedding. I know I can find less expensive hotels or guest houses in Haiti with better amenities.

La principale qualité de cet établissement est sans aucun doute la gentillesse et l'accueil du personnel. Il s'agissait de mon deuxième séjour en quelques mois et on m'a accueilli comme si j'avais quitté la veille. Charmant!!!! Pour se retrouver dans l'environnement tout à fait Haïtien on ne peut espérer mieux. Loin des grandes chaînes hôtelières froides et impersonnelles...allons-y pour une incursion dans le pays hôtes, sa culture, sa chaleur, son architecture locale. Seul petit bémol, l'heure tardive de fin d'après-midi pour l'entretien de la chambre. Pour un séjour en ville... Le Pavillon reste mon choix premier!

Agréable séjour
Ayant séjourné 2 semaines, j'ai regretté de manger toujours la même chose au petit déjeuner. Le personnel est très gentil et très serviable, rien à dire. Dommage que la piscine soit partagée avec l'hôtel Le Paradis qui se trouve à côté car subir la musique assourdissante presque toutes les après midi et soirées n'est pas du tout reposant!!! Je pense que la literie doit être changée, le lit est trop mou et creusé au milieu et il doit y avoir des insectes car trop de piqûres aux jambes tous les jours!! Si ce matelas est changé et plus de musique assourdissante, nous y retournerons sans problème, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour le cadre de cet hôtel est vraiment très beau et superbe vue sur les montagnes! Merci à tout le personnel!

Pavillon des déceptions!
Hôtel au bout d'une impasse très rocailleuse et difficile d'accès. La propreté laisse plus qu'à désirer et si vous aimez les blattes et les cafards vous serez servi. Le personnel est cependant très gentils à l'exception de la dame qui se trouve à la caisse (la caisse et non l'accueil) qui soupire dès que vous consommez car elle doit rendre la monnaie. La literie est totalement défoncée, les draps plus que douteux, la chambre est sombre et la climatisation ne fonctionne que la nuit et ne vous attendez pas à de la fraicheur mais de la moiteur...Je vous déconseille donc très fortement cet hôtel..

d'abord, agréablement surpris par l'hotel lui-même, dommage que les travaux ne soient pas encore terminés. La piscine décevante et n'est pas ce que l'on pourrait croire sur les images affichées sur internet, petite, pas de chaise longues pour prendre un peu de soleil à la sortie du bain, accès contrôlé par la réception de l'hotel. Restaurant non approvisionné, commandes à l'extérieure ??? Mais dans l'ensemble séjour très agréable surtout à cause de l'excellent travail du personnel en place et de la beauté su site.

Accueil Haitien à son meilleur
Nous avons séjourné au Pavillon des Réceptions du 21 au 24 janvier 2015. Tout d'abord l'accueil y a été charmant, dès notre arrivée le personnel s'est bien occupé de nous, et cela s'est poursuivi durant tout notre séjour. Bien que nous étions au 3ième étage, on se souciait plusieurs fois par jour que nous ne manquions de rien et on s'est efforcé de répondre à chacune de nos demandes avec empressement. Merci Dave, ce souci du bien être des clients est tout à votre honneur... au point de se sentir plus comme un invité que client!!! Chambre vieillotte, salle de bain étonnante par contre tout était fonctionnel, présence d'eau chaude en tout temps, télévision à écran plat, frigo , entretien des aires communes et de la chambre très bien . Un gros plus , pour le service du copieux petit déjeuner à la chambre ... ça gâte. Même si à première vue l'accès à l'hôtel ne semble pas très inspirant, sommes heureux d'avoir passé outre et avons grandement apprécié notre séjour. Grand, Grand BRAVO à Dave et son équipe qui a rendu nos quelques jours de vacances fort agréables :)
