Staying at this hotel was one of the worst experiences I've had in Haiti. Their is absolutely no management. My family and I waited 2 hours to be checked in. The shower in our room didnt have hot water. Their was a Haitian concert at the hotel that lasted until 1am and then after party spilled into the hallways and lobby until 4am and management did nothing to quiet people down. In fact the front desk employees started playing rap music on the lobby speakers at 3am full blast. Our room didnt have enough towels and despite calling the front desk several times we never got another. This is supposed to be a classy place and it felt more like a hotel 6 in downtown Trenton, NJ.

The Karibe Hotel does not respect clients. I had a paid reservation and I was turned down at the reception of the hotel on the day of my stay and also later received an email from Expedia informing me at 3:02 PM the very same moment/day that the Karibe Hotel could not honor my paid reservation. This was not acceptable. All plans ruined.
Its well located and safe once inside. Non working phone, No wifi, even normal cell signal is a luxury. Cheking in is a real nightmare limited transportation options.

For a country where the environment has degraded so much in terms of the overall security situation, there is a good effort to keep the property clean and agreeable. And I definitely think that I had a better quality room this time. There are a couple of things that were missing, though, a proper shower head for a lady to take a shower without wetting her hair, and a full body mirror.

My check in was at 3h but they finally gave me the key of my room at 7h and the room was not even ready I had to wait again in the room while they were cleaning. Another thing they billed me by mistake the breackfast.
It's so far my favorite hotel with many lovely spots I always go there on my birthday weekend and It's the first time I experienced such poor service quality.

Poor welcome , flies in the room, noise, noise, noise, i had to wake up at 4 am to check out, couldn’t sleep at all the whole night. When i called the front desk, no one could handle the situation.

We can see that the property has been set up to provide world class amenities for the guests, but they have not kept up with maintenance. The main restaurant should use natural ingredients to control the spicing of the food instead of making extensive use of seasoning cubes.
One of the best place to be if you decide to go to Haiti! Safe and quiet, delicious breakfast, and nice staff from the cleanning team to the management team!

Karibé has the most comfort bed in Haiti hotel, personally bedding is a must for me when it comes to sleeping, if you need a great comfort bed, quietness , etiquette go to Karibé.
