Cute and charming romantic Cabin for two located right on Sproat Lake. NEW Hot tub. King bed. This lake is one of the cleanest and most pristine lakes located on Stunning Vancouver Island. This is your perfect getaway destination if your looking for a quiet and relaxing time. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove and fridge and all the ammenities you will need for your stay. Go kayaking or just relax on your private dock for the day. When you return to this quaint cottage just relax on your private deck overlooking the water. End your day with the romantic soaker tub and board games.Kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and life jackets are provided. Barbecue provided. Wifi included. TV included. Ideal for couples or singles getaway. We host many honeymooners. Tennis rackets and balls are provided for use at the tennis court located just 2km down the road. Walking distance to local restaurant and pub. Many bike trails just across the road.

Awesome place stay

This cozy little cabin was a great place to stay. Had all the amenities and the hot tub on the deck, over looking the lake was perfect. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a romantic weekend and it was everything we hoped for and more. I’d been searching forever for a cabin right on the water with a private hot tub, and this one delivered.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and completely private. We loved having the kayaks and canoe, and even in November we still got to enjoy paddling on the lake. The hot tub overlooking the water was absolute perfection.This place truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, very well stocked, and super cozy. What a great place to unwind. It was great to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view. We both also really enjoyed taking out the canoe and the kayaks. The hosts were lovely and Coco was a gem!

This is our third year and we will keep coming back. The cabin lacks for nothing, the king bed is super comfortable, the hot tub is perfect.. right outside the door. We LOVE this get away and Cathy and Owen are the perfect hosts. Perfect for couples of all ages.

Sweet cabin on beautiful lake

This cabin was perfect! The cabin itself was so cute and comfortable, with everything we would need (including AC) but the best part, for me, was the floating dock and kayaks to really enjoy Sproat Lake.

An overnight romantic getaway

We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We relaxed in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake scenery. We would definitely stay here again.

Sprout Lake cabin

The cabin was positively delightful! The website pictures were bang on! The hot tub was a big hit…it was so clean! The cabin was stocked extremely well. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was invigorating, and the view spectacular! Highly recommend this property!

Our new happy place

Wonderful few days relaxing by the lake and visiting local trails and wonderful beaches at Tofino and Ucluelet. The place is cosy but there is a good kitchen, hot shower, the most comfortable bed we have slept in on holiday out of the 6 weeks and a great clean hot tub to watch the sunset over the lake and mountains. Would definitely stay here again if we are on VI.

Another Great Stay

My husband and I love this property and have returned for several years. Love the addition of the hot tub! Everything you need is provided indoors and out, and the cabin is tastefully decorated. I spent most of my time lounging on the private dock. Highly recommend!

Wonderful weekend getaway

The cabin is well done, small and cozy, but perfect to spend some quality time with your special someone. The view was beautiful and you are right on the lake. The use of the canoe made for a pleasant evening paddle along the lake. The property is just 15 min from Port Alberni making it quick to grab a bite at any time. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful stay on the lake!

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully appointed cottage. It felt adorably rustic without sacrificing any convenience. Highly recommend this sweet place for a romantic gettaway. It felt like we got a lot of quality rest while also enjoying swimming and paddling. Bed was super comfortable and we both enjoyed great quality sleep. Made good use of the hot tub, paddleboards, dock-bed and waterside deck. Great views. Kitchen was handy, perfect spot for a couple.

Happy private cabin for two!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Such a beautiful place in the day! Such wonder in the skies above at night!! The rattan bed out on the dock was a treat!! One of the evenings we stayed we saw 13 meteorites and beautiful northern lights! Lots to do in the area like walking to the hole in the wall! Spectacular! We will come and stay again! Thank you!

Cathy's guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for a summer visit to my family in Port Alberni. Not far from town and it has a lot of amenities packed into a cute, clean space - fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, fluffy towels, lovely shower, hot tub with lake view, TV with streaming platforms...but the highlight is the lake access right at your doorstep. I loved lounging on the dock and trying out the paddleboards. Divine, quiet, tranquil stay on beautiful Sproat Lake. Thank you Cathy!

Slice of paradise

Creatively laid out & elegantly furnished — this delightful cozy get-away is ❤️romantically charming❤️exceptionally equipped for cooking or entertaining ones-self😊and it is private & quiet. Access to the water, dock, a canoe & kayaks/SUPs for 2, including life jackets. The lake is visible, not only from the deck/uber-comfortable hot tub, but from inside the entire cabin. EVEN from the awesome stand-alone bathtub! Simply perfection. We were delighted to see a US Navy transport aircraft, built over 75 years ago, sitting along the opposite shore. Retired now, It eventually became a Mars Water Bomber, world-famous for fighting forest fires. Impressive. You NEED this! Trust me❤️ (Well done, Cathy Braiden, you have a gem of a rental — worth every penny.👌)

The room was just ok for the price… no cozy blankets, poor heating system where the lower living room area was cold but the kitchen.. which is up a few stairs was very hot… poor placement of the heat pump as heat rises. Very basic for the cost. No privacy on deck where hot tub is… an easy fix. Bathtub and shower basically in the kitchen out in the open. It was ok… but again for the price charged per night I would have expected a much better set up and extras like cozy blankets for this time of year, hand cream and specialty toiletries and a basket of welcome goodies… things that make bnbs feel inviting and that the owner cares about their customers… I’ve stayed in many bnbs and this one disappointed me.
