"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Very happy with my stay here. The rooms have been built very well with a quality of finish that surpasses many hotels and was far better than i had expected. The accommodation was very clean throughout, the bed comfy and the added breakfast-provided items were appreciated. The owners and staff are all very friendly too.
