I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. "The property was easy to find and in a good walkable location from the centre. Bedroom was comfy and clean and the skylight style windows really made it feel cosy. "I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
