"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"On arriving at the Angel Joey on reception made us feel very welcome, as he always does, and so our stay immediately got off to a very good start. He also arranged for us to have the room we requested. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is in a good, central location with bars, restaurants and shops nearby. We will definitely be back soon."
