"The two women at the front desk were engaging, quick to respond and interesting to talk with. They represent the hotel and the company owning the hotel very well. Many thanks. You definitely need a bigger, more visually noticeable sign for the hotel that travelers can find more easiy. It took me a long time to find the entrance and hotel itself."

"Very nice resort Everything can be reached via covered walkways Had several activities including nice pool and area around pool, many quiet lounges, several restaurants/bar and several kids' activities areas. Nice playroom for kids and fun arcade. Parking is close and open flat lot. We didn't golf but heard from others that course is nice. Right on the Lake good setting. Several lake cruise offered. 1878 restaurant service was excellent and prime rib was one of best I ever had. Room very good size Overall very nice resort on the Lake room for couples and families. Close to Lake Geneva downtown also. All staff very friendly and helpful If you have mobility issues the walk to restaurants/ pool can be long depending on room location . Ask for room closer to center of hotel."

"I liked the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. My wife and I did not like the bedding or the pillows. We had a king bed that was like an old mattress , way too soft and uncomfortable. The pillows were not firm and way too soft. Our necks were sore all weekend with the pillows having no support whatsoever. Sleeping was difficult and not good."

"Hands down one of the best small town hotels we’ve ever stayed at! Amazing shower w/ spa robes. Rain shower head and pop up T.V at the foot of our bed sealed the deal! Big bonus.. our room had a working retro album player, which we played while getting ready and reminiscing to The Cars on vinyl! Rooftop bar was great too but can’t say enough of our Bartender, Gabriel..he went above and beyond to serve us! He was so pleasant to talk to as well! Overall an outstanding stay and we will definitely be returning!!"

"The rooms in this hotel have been recently updated and are nice and clean. My room only had one queen bed and was super small, but I was travelling by myself and it was more than fine just for me. The air conditioning worked well, the mattress was comfortable, and the sheets were soft. I liked that there was a window shade to keep the room dim. The breakfast in the morning was sufficient. They had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, an assortment of pastries, bagels, etc. You could also make yourself a belgian waffle, and there was yogurt and fruit as well. Coffee, tea, and juice were also available. Overall it was a comfortable experience and I would definitely stay here again."

"I like that there is a bar/restaurant on premises. I arrived later than planned and was able to still get dinner, and take it to my room. Did not do breakfast as I had to be on the road by 6 am and Sunday breakfast did not start until 7. Room was clean but had a slight odor, maybe someone had smoked a cigarette in the non-smoking room. Overall staff I encountered were very helpful and I would recommend this Americinn."
