"What a special spot! We loved everything about our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Our host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She shared great insight and history about the property and about the surrounding area. We got great suggestions about highlights for our visit. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a unique decor. Breakfast was perfect with options for sitting inside or outside. We would love to go back and would recommend a stay to anyone visiting the Loire Valley areas. "

"An old farmhouse which has been renovated but retains many old features and period furniture. Very quiet rural location, nearest villages are tiny (check for market days and opening hours) so 20 minutes to main groceries and if you are to eat out it will need some planning. 12m pool excellent, extensive lawned garden with natural shade, woodland on one side with fields on the other three. Highly recommended but read the VRBO detail. The rooms upstairs are interconnected: stairsmezzanine with shower off twindoubledoubleexternal stair to garden. The downstairs double was very spaciousThe kitchen was tight prepping for 4 adults. We had a fabulous quiet holiday, our two toddlers loved the pool and garden. If it had been wet there is a huge lounge, also a large dining table to sit round. We had plenty of space in our 2 cars so took a camping fridge which was ideal for extra drinks cooling. Host was kind and attentive and responded quickly to questions."

"We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Roc was welcoming, gave us access to his family home and gardens, and an excellent restaurant recommendation in a nearby town. He even called to make a reservation for us. "

"We arrived 3 hours early, but were allowed to check-in early- brilliant! Also, the proprietor kindly let us put some food items in their fridge to keep cold. There was a Music festival going on that evening, which was great fun, and we watched later on from our bedroom window- unfortunatly there was still music going on at 02.45, but not the Hotel's fault. Breakfast next morning was good."
