With the continuation of COVID-19  travelling now comes with a few extra challenges. Have a read over these handy tips before hopping on your plane to Pokljuka Plateau:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as undergoing health assessments.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it to confirm your identity. Travellers who refuse to wear a mask may be fined and denied entry.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer. Rather, place your pass on the reader and then hold it up for inspection.
• TSA now allows passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will have to be removed from your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• Remove personal items from your pocket, like your phone and wallet, and place them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• If you're planning to take food on the plane, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
