"This is a very well run resort with friendly helpful staff, great food and luxurious surroundings including a white sand beach and several pools. There are plenty of activities like watersports, golf, tennis and paddel and a stylish cocktail bar with a variety of live cover bands performing every evening. Food and drink is expensive so the all inclusive option is a good one. "

"Récemment revenu de deux semaines mémorables en juillet, nous avons passé nos vacances à l’île Maurice, à l’hôtel Solana Beach. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons bénéficié d’un accueil chaleureux : toute l’équipe a été à l’écoute pendant tout le séjour; petit déjeuner et dîner étaient servis à l’heure, avec un service attentionné qui anticipait chacune de nos demandes. Nous avons également profité des soins au Ylang Spa, où des professionnelles telles qu’Usha, Kaelyna et Vima, aux mains expertes, ont rendu chaque massage mémorable. Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement Laëtitia et Dominique pour leur excellent accueil ! Le personnel était toujours professionnel et souriant. L’établissement offrait un vrai confort : literie agréable, chambre bien agencée, repas variés, petit-déjeuner copieux et animations du soir parfaitement organisées. C’est un véritable top‑10 pour le Solana Beach ! Le sous-directeur prend le temps de saluer les convives, ajoutant une touche personnelle très appréciée. "The apartments are very nice. Sadly our first apartment had a very noisy neighbour. The second apartment was very noisy too. The apartments have large covered balconies / terraces which makes every noise echo. There was also a lot of building work next door and in the area, traffic noise and screaming children. Also, I know it’s winter and cooler but the pool had no heating on and was freezing/ unusable. Overall really nice apartment but for a couple trying to have a peaceful break, recovering from illness, it was not great. As I said nice apartment but the area is being v very developed so it’s lively with building trucks, cement mixers etc. "
