"The home was immaculate. It was surrounded by nature and extremely private and peaceful. We had a momma deer with 3 baby fawns literally right off the deck that we watched most mornings! It was a short walk to the docks where you could swim and/or dock a boat with the use of the owners private slip, we did both. The area was on the remote side which worked for us but most stores were within a 30 min drive as well as most restaurants. We mostly cooked/grilled and enjoyed the modern kitchen and massive decks with plenty of seating. The game room got a lot of use, my only suggestion here is maybe a little more seating but either way was highly enjoyable. The bedding was extremely comfortable which in our experience is on the rare side so that was much appreciated. All in all our family had one of our best vacations and would highly recommend this home."

"This house is in a great location on the lake with very close access to the boat ramp. It is spacious and well stocked with everything you need and more. The host is very responsive and helpful. My only negative is the spotty wifi. I didn’t have cellular signal at the house, so the inconsistent wifi was a drawback, but honestly, everything else about the house is great. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in a prime location at the lake."

"One of the better VRBO properties we've rented. The house is very nice and very well-equipped (maybe over-equipped). The lake is great for swimming and boating, and the outdoor areas are nice. Hosts provided linens and everything was very clean. Price was very reasonable for our stay. Communications with the hosts were clear and easy. One little thing we really liked: they label the light switches. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere (although they do have neighbors), but you can get to shopping and restaurants within a 20-30 min drive, and plenty of outdoor activities within 15 mins. We rented a pontoon boat for several days from Stars and Stripes rentals - I highly recommend them. It's very nice to pack your lunch, grab your cooler, walk down to the dock and spend a sunny day boating to beaches and tubing. Note that the walk from the dock to the house is long and steep - might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues."

"Amazing place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet, cozy cabin in the mountains. Easy drive to hiking areas, lake jocasee/keowee. Hal was great and always available for any questions. Check in/out process was simple. The cabin was clean and decorated nicely. Highly recommend booking!"
