I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms are very nice and very clean. Customer service was superb, they really go above and beyond for their guests. Ana at reception was wonderful. Right on the beach and the restaurant in the hotel is amazing. And don’t get me started on the breakfast, it was ridiculously good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone, this was the best place to end our vacation. So happy we booked at Hotel Aria!!

Best stay in Croatia. Stayed one night but reception staff was very courteous and helpful. Restaurant staff was very helpful and breakfast host was awesome and gave us great recommendations for the rest of the trip. Huge balcony right on the sea. Wish we stayed longer.

This place was so beautiful! Everything was new and clean, the beach was nice, the restaurant was great, there is a grocery across the street, the staff was amazingly friendly, breakfast included was fantastic. We were here in off season so the price was very reasonable as well tho it looks like it might get a bit pricy in peak season. Regardless, can't recommend highly enough, favorite stay in country so far!

Staff members are all superb!! Everyone works here treats their guests as friends. Location is great, easy access to many spots by car. Room is very clean with a front row sea view. Not the most luxurious place i stayed in Croatia but certainly left with the most heartfelt experience :)

We received very warm welcome and wonderful service from front desk, restaurant and room service. Had two dinners in the restaurant with 10% discount as hotel guest. It’s wonderful. The room is clean with wonderful view. Comfortable bed. The PR cat will welcome you when you have dinner in the restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Perfect for vacation. For transportation, it’s around 20mins ride to Split city centre. Beware of traffic jam for working hours. We missed the ferry due to Monday morning traffic jam. Stuck in the road for one hour.

Amazing stay, will come again!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Aria! The location in Podstrana is gorgeous. You have a bus stop right across the street and it takes you 30mn or so to get to Split. The hotel is gorgeous and has all the most modern amenities. I ate most nights at the hotel’s restaurant Jure and the food was delicious. Same for the breakfast buffet that was delicious with a lot of variety and fresh fruits (try the pistachio croissant..!) But most importantly the entire staff was so lovely and helpful, thank you so much to all of them for making my stay so pleasant! Thank you to Ana at the reception especially! I had such a pleasant week there by myself, I’d love to return with friends and or family and I highly recommend it to anyone!

This was by far my best stay in Croatia. I cannot say enough about the level of hospitality and service. Incredible staff who go above and beyond to make you truly feel welcome and at home. From the minute I checked in to even after I checked out, every single staff I encountered truly made this place feel so welcoming. Borgen (hoping I spelled this right) was so friendly and helped me figure out bus routes to make sure I got to where I needed to go & suggested an app to make buying local bus tickets in Split easier and cheaper! There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it’s very convenient to get to Split. When I mentioned I would be missing breakfast the next day, because I would be away for an excursion, Borgen had the staff prepare a lunch pack for me to pick up in the morning. The staff at this hotel truly enjoy making your stay the best it can be, and are such warm and welcoming people. If you get an ocean view, prepare to be in awe. I loved being able to see the ocean from my bed - stunning view and you can see the most beautiful sunsets from the balcony or go down to the beach. I had lunch & dinner from the restaurant downstairs and the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly highly recommend, and will definitely be coming back if I visit Croatia again! Thank you to everyone at Hotel Aria for making my stay so memorable and wonderful!

Unfortunately, we were sent a message at 13.43pm on the day to let us know that "Due to an unexpected technical issue at our property, a few rooms are currently out of service". When we got there, there was a big party on the hotel and the receptionist apologized and said the hotel was overbooked and they sent us to another hotel 5mns away. The other hotel was nice but we had specifically booked a room with seaview and instead we got a room with no view. He kept repeating the other place was much better and we got a great deal out of it because it was much bigger, we did not want a big place, we just wanted a bed with view on the sea which we had paid extra money for. Also the other hotel did not provide breakfast so we had to walk to 5 mns back to this hotel on a busy highway to get our breakfast in their hotel. The next morning the other receptionist apologised again when we checked out and said it was a technical issue with the room. Another lie for a hotel that was obviously overbooked. We booked the hotel 2 months in advance so not sure why we were the ones who had to be moved.

We had the room that Expedia identifies as "Suite, Balcony, Sea View." We were mightily impressed by the quality of the room, its layout, its cleanliness, the fun in-room bathtub, the luxurious shower, the in-room coffee and espresso machines (thank God!), the view from the balcony out over the beach (plus there were two additional mini balconies!), and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The tall gentleman who checked us in (I forget his name) helped me place a takeaway order with a local restaurant after we arrived, by calling them and having the conversation in Croatian. This was massively helpful. Later, another employee gave us information on catching the bus to go into Split. Finally, although we slept through breakfast two out of three mornings, the experience on the third day before we left was marvelous. Lea was friendly and fun and helpful. After getting an email about adding parking rights for €10/day, I responded saying I wanted to do that, and they got back to me right away and told me it was no problem. Indeed, the parking space was right outside the entrance—super convenient. The value for the money we spent was excellent. Hotel Aria is a candidate for my favorite hotel stay in my whole life. There's no catch, other than its being not centrally located in Split. We probably liked it better staying in Podstrana than we would have staying in Split, anyway. I hope this hotel continues to uphold the same level of quality!
