"This was a great hotel to land for a couple nights in Plettenberg. The staff was delightful especially upon our arrival we were a bit frazzled from a long drive and Kima greeted us to help us Park and get our bags to our room. The in Hotel restaurant is excellent, we ate the oxtail and the breakfast is fabulous. Two doors away is a place called 11 that we rented bikes from. The property is clean and we had a City View Suite that had plenty of room to spread out and a balcony. The property is...

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (44 reviews)
"The Junction is a nice place to stay in Plett. The beds are comfortable, there is Aircon and the style is modern and new. The rooms are not very bright, so not the best place to hang in the day, but absolutely perfect as a nightly base, especially with the block-out curtains. The location is excellent right in the middle of town so you can walk anywhere. Right by Seakrit Spot and Market off Main which is very convenient. I’d stay here again for a short stay of a few nights. "

The pool was much warmer than our last visit in September 2004! We found Hog Hollow had lost a little of its rustic charm and was more like a hotel. "

7.6 out of 10, Good, (60 reviews)
"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."

Top Plettenberg Bay Hotel Reviews

Christiana Lodge

Christiana Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Beautifully appointed large rooms with heated bath flooring (a nice perk). The staff went above and beyond in helping us, even keeping the breakfast open longer on our checkout day because there was miscommunication on the breakfast boxes. Two small pool, with lovely chaise lounges and a short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. One caveat - be sure you like stairs as the breakfast room (great breakfast) is up 3 flights and there are multiple levels throughout the property."
