It is several small blocks to the center plaza (downtown). If you have a problem the staff will correct it. The heat pumps are super nice for AC. In Chiapas, toilet paper goes in the waste can because the plumbing is delicate. The hotel provides a small bottle of water each day of your stay, enough for an emergency and brushing...
