"Nice place with beautiful ocean views. The beach is nearby, though you’ll need to walk through some rocky terrain when the tide is low to access it. The views of the ocean, especially in the morning and evening while watching the kite surfers, were absolutely beautiful. Our room was on the second floor, which is accessed by a very small winding staircase. However, the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage upstairs. The room was exactly as pictured, very spacious and comfortable. It was a bit warm during the day but cooled down nicely at night. The TV in the master bedroom didn’t work, but it wasn’t a big issue since we were usually exhausted from the day’s activities and fell asleep quickly. The only downside was that there were ants in both bathrooms throughout our stay. The staff responded promptly and swept them up, but they appeared to be coming through cracks in the wall, so the issue continued. Other than that, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was great. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning."

"Ana was super communicative our entire stay. Loved the distance to the beach. The property feels isolated (which was a plus for us) yet closer enough to a colmado that we were able to get staples for our stay. The 6 bedrooms were spacious and well air-conditioned. We had a small gathering of friends for lunch and everyone loved the property. If you want beach and pool and a place to hang out this property is great. 10 of us (8 adults 2 kids) fit comfortably."

"AMAZING. I had my wedding on the beach here and it was as perfect as a wedding can be! We had 28 people total stay here and we did the all inclusive food and drinks. We stayed from Monday-Sunday with guest arriving throughout the week. The drinks never stopped coming and the food never disappointed. Nina, the property manager, helped us pull off literally anything we wanted/needed, including a last minute birthday cake for a guest! She organized travel to and from the airport and all excursions off the property. She even helped on our wedding day when I wanted to push back the ceremony 30 minutes. The kitchen crew, bartenders and even the security guards were so friendly and welcoming. Whether they were fluent in English or only knew a few words they always greeted us with a smile. Angel and Christina were our main bartenders and are so great at their jobs! They make great drinks and even better conversations. The house itself exceeded my expectations. The bathrooms were spacious and the toilets were strong lol. I cannot recommend this property enough. We are already planning our return trip!! The wedding planner was also very helpful and made for a wonderful wedding. 10/10 all around"

"We came to the Dominican for a family reunion of 22 adults and kids. The property is absolutely gorgeous and being steps from the ocean priceless. The constant wind throughout the day kept everyone cool and comfortable despite the Dominican heat and humidity. The staff were amazing. Starting with Dean who patiently answered every one of my emailed questions months I advance of the trip—always kind and informative with each response. Juan, the property manager, handled all of our guests’ questions and requests with ease. He even took some people to town himself to assist with grocery shopping and restaurant recommendations. But there really is no need to go out to eat as the dinners prepared by the chefs were out of this world delicious—with attention paid to the ones in our group who are gluten free and vegan. Amazing!! Marleni was so kind—not only did she make drinks and smoothies for the group, she also helped with the one-year-old giving the child’s parents a break. Housekeeping kept everything pristine and even did multiple loads of laundry for us. There was a roach found in a room or two, but quite frankly not unexpected when staying on an island with palms. We all had a great time in the pool and ocean—they even provided pool toys and sunscreen. Little touches like that were so appreciated! The property is so spacious allowing everyone their own beautiful rooms and places to lounge throughout the day. We will certainly plan a repeat reunion here!"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is unique and has a pleasant atmosphere. The free continental breakfast was appealing and satisfying. The pool was refreshing, located on the top floor close to our room entrance. Lighting was romantic and calming."

"Great stay. Away from the city and very secluded with beautiful views and a helpful, cheerful staff. I would highly recommend the chick cordon blu with Russian salad. Ensure you have a 4x4 vehicle. But well worth it. Look forward to coming again."
