"I’ve stayed at many different properties in Cabarete over the course of seven years and Hotel Villa Taina is my favorite one. The property itself is maintained very well and kept very clean, and the location, in my opinion, is the best in Cabarete. The front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staffs all provided excellent service. The breakfast buffet offered high-quality, delicious options. "

"Jasmin was excellent, always available and communicated well. The owner communicated well also. We felt the kitchen was lacking in needed supplies for cooking. Shower water was very hot for about a minute and then cold. Two bedrooms flooded during a rain storm due to a broken drain on the roof. Jasmin helped us get food at the grocery store since the area was flooded! Jasmin was right on getting out flooded rooms cleaned up. Our bedroom sliding door would not close and we were told it would get repaired but that didn’t happen. Not a huge issue since the curtain covered the window and it was second floor. The outdoor space was awesome with a large table under the pavilion. The upper pool is not a hot tub as we thought. Beware of stray dogs barking at night. We loved that each room had a key. The bathrooms need more towels. The owner was kind enough to allow us to bring other kids over to swim in the pool. We loved that each room had its on A/C unit. "

"We arrived in Jan (off season) it was super quiet and what we wanted (we were the only ones there besides staff) allowing us to take amazing pics (I haven’t n loaded yet) it was a great experience. Although at night, I did get a tiny bit concerned when we went back to tip the staff and there wasn’t anyone to be found. Nothing bad happened in fact we are planning on coming back. The view was great the amenities were great as well. We ordered dinner that wasn’t included and breakfast and it was tasty. They gave us unlimited free coffee and there was water in the room too. Also there was beer in the room refrigerator but we didn’t touch that because we didn’t know if it was a charge for it. Only thing I would change is for front desk staff to be a little bit more friendly. The interaction was a little bit awkward kind of unwelcoming but other than that everything was great! We referred them already too many locals and our family and friends back in the US"

"Everything here is amazing from the view/landscape to their customer service, food, cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, flexibility/customer accommodation, etc. My reservation was for 3 people but I wanted to have some family time with other family members, and they prepared a buffet for a total of 10 people... being able to have great family time and memories without any stress is amazing, and Yasper and his mom make this happen.
