"Had a great family vacation over New Years. The buffet dinner offered New Years Eve was fabulous. No shortcuts on quality or quantity. Shout out to Jose our beach server. The most attentive and personable person we have experienced in Mexico. We have been to the Mayan Riviera many times and this was our first visit to Puerto Vallarta. Will definitely be back. The beach was incredible and we aren’t beach people 😂. The Riu Palace Pacifico was a great first experience. Many thanks to Alberto with Gray Line. My husband lost his passport and the whole team was incredibly helpful in helping us to locate it. Thankfully it was in Customs at the airport so we were able to get it right away and not have to worry about getting a replacement. "

"Zantamar is still under construction but never bothered by any noise. The room was like a studio and very clean. Could use some storage containers or baggies.We used an Uber for going everywhere but an ATV or cart would have been great for local sites. We walked to the marina. Ask about what's provided in the room. We didn't have an iron and the stores close by are tiny. Take a bag or safe sure bags for trash. Trash is a big problem. We carried all our trash out with us as you should. The people here are amazing, kind, helpful. Even had to visit a local doctor. "

"Jardin del Mar exceeded my expectations. The property is beautifully landscaped with both small and large patios in several areas. The room (Delphin) was clean, well maintained and equipped with all of the basic amenities needed for our stay. First and foremost was the view! The property is right on the beach. We watched whales, porpoises, sea turtles every day! The onsite kayaks were great for excursions out to get a closer look at the whales. The town area is about a 15 minute walk along the beach. There are a number of restaurants with a wide range of foods and prices. Don't miss La Cata in the fish market area or La Balina Blanca for their shrimp tacos! Be advised that at high tide, you may have to climb on the rocks for short intervals to keep your shoes dry. Don't ask how we know that. Mario and Yolanda seemed to appear out of nowhere whenever we had a question. Both were very helpful during our stay. In short, it is a beautiful property and I am making plans to return."
