"This is a beautiful property but not exactly like a typical hotel. The buildings are sort of scattered through the property - like separate homes. Reception is tucked away down a path. No real lobby to speak of. The pool is beautiful. I came during the off season - very hot - rates were amazing. I had the entire place to myself. My room was gorgeous. I stayed in Santa Clara - huge room, beautiful bathroom, lovely outdoor patio, nice little kitchenette. It was perfect. My bed was amazing - the mattress and pillows and bedding - all luxury. I highly recommend this place. There are no food options. So just know you have to go out for snacks, drinks etc. but there is coffee in your room."

You can’t swim in this part of ocean as it is dangerous but again you can hear the waves from the property and easy drive to other beaches. We had only planned to stay one night but stayed a second. "Hacienda de Pacifico was magnifico! The unit was spotless. The outdoor area was too. There was a beautiful pool and lounging area outdoors that was a common area. The West Wing Villa was spacious and lovely with a private terrace. All the amenities included. Kim, the owner, doesn’t miss a thing. Everything needed for a stay is here. Even reusable shopping bags, beach towels and beach bag. The internet is pretty slow and sometimes spotty. If you’re doing a working vacation, be aware. Zoom/service dropouts happened. Not too frequently. Amy, the property manager is the true gem here. She solved every issue promptly (not that there were many, just a couple) and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She had some good suggestions for dining and activities too. Elvia the housekeeper was also fantastic! The A/C was cold and very nice on hot days. Great hot water, plus a super kitchen and complimentary drinking water and local coffee were a nice touch. We look forward to our return visit!! "
