"Me gustó mucho la limpieza y el personal casi TODOS muy atentos y muy agradable y el servicio de las comidas rápidas excelente
Lo que no me gustó la variedad de la comida en el bufé y los tragos como la margarita solo sabía a soda
Pero en sentido general muy bien todo"
"The food was one of the highlights of our trip. There was always an excellent selection of meals and snacks available throughout the day, and everything we tried was fresh, high quality, and delicious. The beverage selection was good, although the variety was somewhat limited.
The resort is very family-friendly. We appreciated the dedicated kids’ pool, along with several other pools that had shallow 1–2 ft sections perfect for little ones. The kids’ club for children ages 4–12 looked like a great amenity for families with older kids. We also loved seeing lifeguards stationed at the pools, which added an extra sense of safety.
Our biggest frustration was the infant crib situation. The resort could not guarantee crib availability until we arrived at reception, which made planning ahead difficult when traveling with a baby. We ended up bringing our own pack-and-play for peace of mind.
One thing to keep in mind is that the resort is very large, with many amenities spread quite far apart. The complimentary shuttles, which run about every 30 minutes, were essential because the walks can be long, especially in the heat.
Overall, we had a great experience with excellent food, beautiful family-friendly facilities, and attentive safety measures. A few logistical improvements would make this a five star stay."
"An incredibly beautiful, peaceful, clean, and serene place! Beautiful gardens, an incredible animal sanctuary to walk through, an adorable little cabin to stay in with a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and linens. My only complaint would be that you can hear the traffic from the road, which is very close. Also, the property may want to consider putting up signs that point to where to go to see the animal sanctuary, museum, etc.
Breakfast is basic and Dominican style. We reach received one and a half hard boiled eggs, fried salami, and two scoops of mashed potatoes lol. If you're looking for a typical North American breakfast you're out of luck. Staff is friendly though, coffee is hot, strong and delicious, and nice fresh juice, which was some type of lemonade."
Ocean view, large pool, waterfall, cinema, gym, near the beach, STAFF INCLUDED.
10/10 Excellent
"The star of the show (aside from the obvious idyllic views) was the staff. We ended up feeling like they were extended family. Be mindful, though, of your expectations. Do your research on Puerta Plata and the surrounding area. When you go to Umbrella street district (or anywhere for that matter), vendors are VERY aggressive. Also, carefully consider your reason for visiting. I intentionally avoided the tourist resort so I wasn’t really isolated from the locals. Americans are definitely gonna need to prepare for a driver instead of renting a car. I also really needed peace and quiet which is what I got plenty of. The views of this villa are second to none."
