"Our family LOVED staying at Villa Potrero. The house layout was perfect for our large family of 18. The house is updated and clean. The veranda was an ideal place to watch the sun rise and set or to just have morning coffee and listen to the ocean. It was the perfect setting for a tropical destination wedding with a ceremony on the beach and a reception by the pool with drinks and dancing on the porch, plenty of room for our guest and the kitchen served as a great spot for a caterer. "Beautiful home, well stocked with everything (and more) than our family could need. Very clean and well maintained. Gated community, private access to the San Francisco point, and a short walk or ride to Tamarindo and Langosta beaches. Had a small issue with the electronic lock and the Blue Zone company responded right away and took care of it for us. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental!"

"I was skeptical about staying here at first based on the reviews they appeared to be a hit and miss. If you want luxury this may not be the place for you. We were there for a short time not a long time and it was suitable for my needs. The room is just what you see online. The only complaint is that the first night it was a bit warm. After that it was right on time. The rooms were cleaned every day.I wished they had decorated my room for my birthday but that was okay. The view was very nice and I shouted from the balcony on my birthday. The staff were friendly. I saw reviews about the language barrier, please be patient, they will find someone to help you. We had no issues with staff speaking English. I enjoyed the inside and outside bar. Brenda, Felipe, Bryan, Juan, are just a few that made my birthday so memorable! The breakfast and dinner was very good. Lunch was mid. Overall I enjoyed my stay and so did the group I was with. Find Carlos for a great spa service. My massage by Jaqueline was amazing. There is plenty to do here. If you need a sign to book here do it! Although the new site next door is opening October 4. I will be back soon. Thank you Rui! "

"Loved my stay. Enjoyed the luxurious room with a jacuzzi on my terrace. Everyone at the hotel was so nice. Service was excellent especially in the restaurant. The food was so tasty and presented so beautifully. The only thing I would suggest is if they had some nightly entertainment. "
