About this property

Central Huge PH with Private Rooftop and Jacuzzi

Enjoy over 2,200 square feet of living space with the large balcony, the huge roof terrace with outdoor dining set and your own private jacuzzi. This apartment is perfect to be enjoyed for a family or group of friends. 2 blocks from world famous 5th ave, and 5 min walking distance to the beach. It's the perfect location since by walking distance you have all the amazing spots that Playa del Carmen has to offer.
One of the greatest parts of Playa del Carmen is the wonderful weather - typically in the 70s and 80s year round - so why not enjoy it outside! Enjoy outdoor jacuzzi. Grill fresh food on our charcoal grill. Star gaze on our expansive roof top terrace with several lounge chairs and large dining table and chairs.

The apartment is very well decorated and appointed. On the walls you will find nice artwork. Adorning the counters there is nice, quality touches like glass vases and figurines. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality appliances sure to satisfy any cook.

Our penthouse is divided into 2 floors. The top floor houses the huge rooftop with private jacuzzi, set for dining, the sun umbrellas and the lounge chairs.

The first floor hosts the internal apartment. The main bedroom has 1 king size new bed, a private bathroom and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has 2 new individual beds, a chair and a large wardrobe.

The first floor of our penthouse hosts as well the modern marble kitchen with stainless steel appliances, hot and cold fresh water cooler and breakfast bar. Next to the kitchen is the dining area with table and seating for 6. Adjacent to the dining area, our living room houses comfortable and ample seating and a Led HDTV. Off the living room is another private balcony

My penthouse resides in the Paraiso Magico Condo only 2 blocks away from the pedestrian shopping and dining boulevard of 5th Avenue, and is only 4 blocks away from various beach clubs. DAC, a fresh fruit and veggie market is only 2 blocks away while the Mega, a large supermarket is right behind the building. The condo has a cleaning service, 24 hour security and a spacious ground floor parking.

The apartment is very spacious and within walking distance to the ferry station, ADO bus stations, shops and restaurants. A big grocery store is just in the next block. They provide breakfast items so we can cook breakfast in the next few days. The upstairs terrace with the hot tub and the balcony are also very nice. We had a nice stay! Thank you!

We were scheduled to check in on Sun. I received a message on Sat evening that there was electrical issues in the condo and that we would not be able to check in until Tues. They did put us in a hotel that was a block away. It was a basic hotel room so definitely a down grade but I did not see the message until Sun morning and didn't really have any other option at that point. They did offer me a small refund on our stay (at this time I have not seen that refund). The motel was nice enough but we were a little disappointed in the situation. They did work with us and had someone go over and collect our bags and bring them to the condo building for us since we were out exploring that day. When we got to the condo on Tues the lobby area is very nice and there is a security guard at the door or desk at all times. Check in was quick and easy. The condo is as the pictures show, it was very nice and clean. It was spacious and laid out nicely. They provided breakfast items for us to prepare in our condo. They also provided us with a couple bottles of wine to make up for the delay in checking into our unit. The unit did have some sewer gas odor, we added water to all drains but it did not help. I would highly recommend trying the food vendors in the street outside the unit patio, the food was great and we wish we would have tried sooner as we have eaten there more as it was delicious and affordable. The Ado bus station alternate location is only 2 blocks away which was great.

Playa Penthouse

Overall the property was in good condirion although somewhat less than the pictures showed. It was in a great location, one block from a Mega grocery store, three blocks from Walmart and three blocks from 5th avenue and a couple more to the beach. Easy walk to basically anywhere, lots of restaurants and coffee shops other than whats on 5th ave. Would have preferred a propane bbq to the charcoal unit. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Playa. First Time in an apt rental.

The apt is excellent for a VRBO first timer. The host was very attentive to questions and on site help was excellent.Socorro was super pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. I love the roof. The area is great with the market next door and excellent street food on the block. We walked everywhere and felt like we lived in Playa during our stay.
