"We have been coming to this hotel for a few years now, its a small family owned hotel beautifully kept and spotless. On the edge of the village within walking distance of bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Beautiful beaches and coves it is very handy to use as a base for visiting other areas. "

"We loved our stay at Playavera, the pool area is very pretty, lots of loungers, plus a warm indoor pool and beach access so close. The location is fantastic, everything you need. We were gutted to leave, but reception refused to consider our request to extend our stay in the studio for the price of a double, despite stating most of the studios were available. We couldn’t afford boarded (food) options and the one night we paid to eat with friends we were very disappointed. I wouldn’t eat dinner here, but a stay is lovely. Would return for a good price."

"This is a small hamlet where you just escape the noise of back home. It is endearingly Spanish and forces you to at least try and speak some Spanish. Good fun. The people the place and the Sunday market are great. There are a number of small restaurants locally and you can adventure (need a car) to Vera, garuche and mojacar for a more wider selection. Grat enjoyable holiday will return."
