"Large and flexible villa with air con throughout. Loved the outdoor area and downstairs den. Hosts were very responsive and helpful when there was a problem with on air con system."

"The property is advertised as being local and central to amenities. It is in the middle of nowhere. There is a shop 4km away down a motorway but not accessible by walking which we were assured. On arrival we found the villa had not been cleaned and beds were unmade. When the cleaning team came, they only washed the bedding from the master bedroom. The pool man only attended once in the week on the Tuesday. We cleaned the pool the rest of the time, it was not cleaned prior to our arrival and only once during our stay despite the hosts insistence it's cleaned at least twice weekly. There were multiple items broken inside the villa (shower, bedsheets etc) including a pool tile that left two of my children injured and one needing medical attention. The cleaners were rude and we had no contact prior to our arrival.Once the host found out we had contacted VRBO re the injury to my daughter, they proceeded to harass us and be verbally insulting for 4 days. The villa is overpriced and dirty with no shops in the local area. The holiday was saved by an amazing local bar a few steps from the front door and a very kind and helpful local community. "

"We loved our stay at Playavera, the pool area is very pretty, lots of loungers, plus a warm indoor pool and beach access so close. The location is fantastic, everything you need. We were gutted to leave, but reception refused to consider our request to extend our stay in the studio for the price of a double, despite stating most of the studios were available. We couldn’t afford boarded (food) options and the one night we paid to eat with friends we were very disappointed. I wouldn’t eat dinner here, but a stay is lovely. Would return for a good price."

"This is a small hamlet where you just escape the noise of back home. It is endearingly Spanish and forces you to at least try and speak some Spanish. Good fun. The people the place and the Sunday market are great. There are a number of small restaurants locally and you can adventure (need a car) to Vera, garuche and mojacar for a more wider selection. Grat enjoyable holiday will return."
