"This was a lovely small hotel. Perfect for our short stay. Breakfast was good. Can't comment on the pool as it was too cold. Only downside was that the rooms were quite small but otherwise very good"

"Rooms are dated, staff are rude and generally it’s a poor experience. Our Junior suite came with one coffee capsule (we’re a couple sharing the room - so not even one each) and 2 tiny bottles of water. When asking for more coffee they tried to charge €15. Room service app didn’t work at all, and when phoning them the kitchen would be closed at random times, and the staff were incredibly rude."

"In a perfect location, beach very near, bus stations / stops near, shops and restaurants near as well. Surprised it is only rated 3 stars, but had more things in the room than what some 5 star hitels offer. It is under rated, should be atleast 4 star minimum. Very comfortable bed and it had more than what some 5 star hotels offer in the room. Definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Marbella, specially for the first timers, as it is well located. We’ll definitely stay here again when we ever. Come back to Marbella. "

"Liked: 1. Spacious bedroom. 2. Great breakfast. 3. Beautiful swimming pool. Disliked: 1. View of the swimming pool from the ground floor bedrooms is blocked by a row of buses lining the swimming pool. 2. No soundproofing in the bedroom so you could hear the people in the next bedroom and corridor talking. 3. It takes too long to walk from the hotel into town so you have to spend money on cabs back snd forth."

"We love Aqua apartments, we have visited several times now and love every visit. The apartments are clean, comfortable and spacious. The check in/out process is efficient and easy and staff are always so welcoming and helpful with an enquiries we had. "

"This is the classic case where the house is good but the surroundings are not. The pool was heated and provided a few hours of fun for the kids. It isn’t a huge pool, so beware that older kids may become bored with it. However it was great overall—especially for our 8-year-olds. The property itself is clean and pleasant. It may not be considered luxurious by some standards—note especially the slow combined washer and dryer in the kitchen—and I have to admit I expected slightly more for the high cost of the rental. But still. It was a well-appointed, comfortable house. And without visiting a bunch of other listings in person, it may simply be what is available in the area.What concerns me about the listing is the environment around the property. It is by a beach whose view is tarnished by jet skis for rent, heavy concrete ruins, and industrial equipment just hanging out there in the sand: tractors, front/end loaders, etc. It’s a grungy, desolate beach with no visitors. It is a 5 minute walk from the house to get to nicer sands, most notably a beach club just to the right of the house.In general, though, the environment around the house is in a bit of a no-mans land. There is graffiti on the exterior walls of the house facing the beach. It is a 15 minute walk to the main promenade of San Pedro. But it’s not a pleasant walk, as it is full of abandoned and fenced-off areas, undeveloped and unpaved walkways, and a general look of neglect. I expected beauty in Marbella."
