"Im not sure how this place is running under a Hotel title, ive seen some funny places but i must say this was the worst of them all. Bathroom door not only didn’t lock, but the receptionist said not close it once iam in otherwise i will be stuck and cant get out. Toilet was smelling of urine and the toilet seat was broken.Tv remote was not working, room was stinking of cigarettes.had a very flat and uncomfortable pillows that gave me a neck pain for the rest of my stay, bed was very...
"Sketchy area. I was there for only one night and I never felt safe. To add insult to injury, I even got bitten by bedbugs. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."
"Hôtel vieillissant. Le ménage et le lit ne sont pas faits lors du séjour
On est un peu loin des standards de la chaîne B and B....
Une gamme 1ere classe au prix d'un B and B
Par contre le p'tit dej est sympa avec bacon, oeufs, croissants et pains au chocolat
Déçu de l'expérience "

house / villa - 4 rooms - 4/6 persons en Provence dans calanque MARSEILLE (PACA)
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely fantastic, we are leaving a little bit of our hearts behind. Etienne is a thoughtful, attentive host and the house is a beautiful and peaceful haven. We loved our stay and highly recommend this marvelous experience. "
Villa la Nicole balneotherapy 2 steps from the sandy beach
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our time at Villa la Nicole. Anne was very welcoming and helpful, and talked through how to use the jacuzzi when we explained that was what we wanted. We really appreciated the super-fresh eggs from her chickens! The only critique is that the flat is by no means 'two steps' from the beach. It is a fifteen-minute walk. Not too far at all, but better described as having a view of the sea, over the village."
Bright and spacious guest room with separate entrance.
8/10 Good
"Stunning location in Carry le Rouet with 3 basically private beaches five minute walks away. The only issue is that getting into Marseille from this town is a complete pain (bus to train that only runs 3x a day) so if you don’t want to pay 40 euros for an uber be prepared to transit over an hour. Otherwise the neighborhood is very protected and clean and close to a couple restaurants right by the beach. Besides a small ant problem, the actual room was perfect for the price and had everything we needed. "
"The hotel is in a very good location, in front of the beach and of a trail of about 1km heading to the city center, very nice. Snorkeling and swimming is good. Personnel is generally nice. However, the landlors (couple) is very unfriendly. We arrived at the hotel at 2:10, after a trip which started at 4AM, with delays and problems. We were tired and just wanted to put our stuff in our room, put on swimmsuites and go to the beach - we had opera at 8 in Aix. Owners insisted that "check-in is at 3PM"; even if the room is ready, they claim that keys opens the rooms at 3 (in >50 years of travelling all over the world this is the first time I hear about such a system/story) - they sent us to a room to change our stuff, did not give us a towel (they are only for the super-small "pool"). And they treated us really badly. Nextday: the locker did not work, even after changing batteries, we spent half an hour with trial and errors - I still remember the owner's aggressive voice saying "can't you wait 10 minutes?" Now, accidets happen, and indeed the personnel was very nice. But this lady... I never met such an unfriendly person iin an hotel. Owners should make their guests happy, not confront them with hursh and aggressiveness! So: the hotel is very nice, 5 stars, and most likely you will not meet the landlors, but in my opinion they deserved 1 star. As I said, I am a frequent traveller, visiting hotels all around the world, but I never had such bad experience with hotel's owners. "
