Inn By The Bay

"We were welcomed by Tammy who showed us to our beautiful room and gave us some instructions to follow. The decor was tasteful and the bed was comfortable although it was only a double bed. We managed just fine. The room was clean and other than a continual hum from perhaps a fan in another room, it was quiet. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but satisfactory. The dining/sitting room was quaint and looked out onto the ocean. It felt like being in someone's home. Elizabeth. the owner, was very friendly and kept the coffee coming. She shared some history of the place and even played a record on the old gramophone when we enquired of its condition. A bonus is that we were across the street from the Dildo Brewing Company and Museum so we could just walk there for supper and a beer. I would recommend this place. It was lovely."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the George House Héritage B and B in Dildo, Newfoundland. The inn is charming, elegant and beautifully decorated and is impeccably clean. That it is a heritage building made our stay there all the more memorable. Todd is an excellent host. It was great to meet other guests while enjoying a delicious breakfast around a lavishly set table. The view from the inn towards the town of Dildo is fabulous. The location is super 👌. I highly recommend the George House Héritage B and B. We look forward to returning again."

"Amazing stay! Only stayed one night and would’ve loved to enjoy more of what the resort has to offer. The staff were very friendly! Clean room. We had a king villa with a tub which was better than the pictures. Beautiful deck and beautiful view. The villas are apart from the main building with parking right in front."

"Very clean and roomy. Large bed rooms but one had a clear glass panel in the door. I would suggest a curtain. I was a little concerned about The lack of a obvious fire escape with a BBQ on the exit. The stairs were difficult for us seniors. The ad photo was older and misleading. The kitchen was great but be carful of the toaster directly under upper cupboards, a little too close for safety. hand rails in the bathroom would be nice for seniors if possible. The location is great, giving access to all of the Avalon Peninsula. Dining in town is pretty limited but we cooked most meals. Overall, very nice, with only minor inconveniences."
