We love Blue Creek for our church annual getaway!
Our church small group has come to Blue Creek for 3 years now for a little weekend getaway. Becky and David have been so accommodating and prompt in responding! We had a wonderful stay, and the house was just as we remembered, with a few upgrades, even! We cook all our meals in the kitchen, and it basically has everything you need! There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and lots to do. We enjoyed pickleball, pool, swimming, and playing board games. Thank you for having us again!

What a fun house!
We loved our weekend at Blue Creek! Between shooting hoops, pickle ball, and swimming in the great pool, this place is as fun as it gets! The hosts were great!

Family Fun
Our family was very impressed with everything at this beautiful resort. The room to spread out, the games and the quiet setting were awesome. And the pool was great! Plenty of seating around the pool, plenty of linens and towels. What more could a family want? Thank you McCartney's for our fantastic weekend!

Took my six children and my six grandchildren and we had a few nights together. Great family time plenty of things to do from playing games to tennis to basketball to pickle ball to swimming. We even did 1000 piece puzzle.

Awesome place!
We had a great vacation here! There were plenty of activities for all of the kids ranging from 3-23. One of the things we liked best was the covered area by the pool, it was always being used. The tennis court was a bonus & it was nice you could see it from the pool area. Our whole family enjoyed it & we would defiantly come back!

College Friends Gathering
What a fabulous setup for a college friend reunion! Twenty-two sorority sisters from around the country had a great time at this spacious house! We had our own version of "Olympics" using the garage games, lounged around the pool, learned how to play pickleball, and took and epic sunset photo in front of the fountain. Highly recommend for a large group!

Best weekend ever
Beautiful property. The owner was one of the best hosts we have ever worked with. The property had anything you could need. We took our kids and grandkids. Even had an aunt and uncle come by as well as my brother and his family for the day. Just what the doctor ordered for this old man!

Amazing property for large groups.
There were 17 of us— from 1 y/o to preschool to elementary to high school, parents and grandparents. We could have easily had way more people in real beds. Everyone had a ball. Great family time.

Another wonderful getaway for our church group!
This was our second year staying at Blue Creek Resort -- we booked right before COVID happened, and the owners were SO gracious to allow us to keep postponing our stay due to the pandemic (THANK YOU!). I am so happy we were finally able to make the trip, and it was every bit as fun as we remembered it from last time! This is the perfect house for a quiet getaway in the country for a large group of families. We had some teens that got into the corn fields and caused some damage, so we paid a $200 fee taken from the security deposit -- I know that was our fault completely, but just to be extra explicit, perhaps it should be listed in the handbook in bold somewhere that the corn fields are off-limits. There was a little path into the corn, so our kids stumbled upon that and went in. Anyway, the house and stay were great. A few notes for the owners: The downstairs bathroom (the non-pool bathroom) has a tiny drip in the faucet that we couldn't get to turn off... really really slow drip, so not sure if it's even an issue. May want to invest in some smaller bowls in the kitchen, but other than that, there were PLENTY of plates/servingware for us to use! And a note for future guests -- bring your own paper towels, napkins, tissues, trash bags, etc.

Family Get Away
This was the perfect place for our 10th annual four generation family reunion. The house and property were beautiful and just perfect for our weekend. I love that all of the outdoor activities were centrally located so my 98 year old grandma could be a part of everything going on with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Amazing property!

Family Summer Vacation
The property was amazing, and exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a place with plenty of room for all of us to spread out, and with plenty of activities on site. We thoroughly enjoyed having several days to just relax, unwind and be together. And we took advantage of everything! Enjoyable Family Vacation
We just returned from our second trip to Blue Creek Resort. We are a multi-generational family of 25+. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the outdoor entertainment area is so great!! Pool is huge and warm. Sports court is fun and nicely lit up at night. Huge yard to throw a ball around, etc. Some of the beds definitely need updating but other than that we loved our stay! Hope to be back again next year!

Great stay!
Our group of four families with kids had a great stay. Outdoor space was perfect. Clean and warm pool, lots of games and activities for kids. We had everything we needed to cook and have meals together. Extra refrigerators and ice maker were useful. We liked the privacy of not having neighbors. We could play music and swim in the evenings. Rooms were clean and we had enough bedding and towels for everyone. Would be nice to have more towel hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms. Overall, there was enough space for 16 of us and everyone had a great stay!

Becky and David were fabulous to work with as we prepared for our family reunion at Blue Creek Resort. Very accommodating and quick to respond. The property is lovely. We were blessed with perfect weather that allowed us to take full advantage of the incredible outdoor space. Swimming, basketball, tennis and more. A lovely, secluded spot for our family reunion. Family Covid free Getaway
We really enjoyed the visit. The pool and courts were awesome. We were disappointed there wasn't a pinball machine as pictured and trampoline. The mattresses in some of the rooms were terrible and very difficult to sleep on. One guest used a chair. It would have been nice to have the lower laundry room open. But we had an amazing time and bonded with family. Thank you.

Beautiful Property with TONS of Activities!
This property was great for our group of friends. There was ample space, many beds, clean bathrooms, and a helpful and attentive owner. David and Becky answered all of our questions thoroughly before, during, and after our stay. There were tons of additional toys and sports equipment available for our use (tennis rackets, basketballs, tennis balls, pool floats, blow up pumps, etc.). The game room in the garage was awesome as well! As was the downstairs bar, and multiple fridges/freezers around the house. The pool was clean, heated to the perfect temperature, and had a beautiful new interior lining. This is a great property with incredible owners. I would highly recommend staying at Blue Creek Resort.

Outstanding Family Time
The property is outstanding. Beautiful acreage, beautiful and expansive home and amazing pool with slide and diving board, basketball court, volleyball, games, books, kiddie things and so much more. Awesome place for the family
The place is great for families. We had 8 adults and 12 kids and they loved the pool and all the large yard. We'd definitely go back again. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances that we needed and the beds were very comfortable.

This place is even better than the pictures show!
This place was one of my favorite places we have ever stayed! There wasn’t much of anything they didn’t already have there. We have a group of guys who all grew up together and we take a trip once a year without our kids to drink, play hoops, and hang out. This place was perfect! We plan on going back next year and Becky and David could not have been more helpful answering any questions we had before the trip. Highly recommend for large groups with or without kids.

A great family vacation destination
Our family of 16 plus 2 infants had a great time at Blue Creek resort! There was so much to do, that we could not enjoy it all in the 2 short days that we were there! The first day was 65 and misty all day, but the pool temp was set to 91 and swimming was still great! The owners were very accommodating to our needs, and were very easy to work with. Lots of games and books in the basement. Lots of pool towels in the pool bathroom. Plenty of balls and equipment for all the activities that are there. And also a wide variety of pool toys. The 2 refrigerators were very handy since we brought all of our food with us. The biggest con was that we only had 2 days to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful, location! Thank you for sharing your property with us and allowing us to enjoy it and make family memories!

Our family of 14 totally loved our time at Blue Creek !! Everyone had an awesome time in the pool and all of the amenities offered. We would definitely return to make more family memories!! Our kiddos ranged from 16 months to 11 years. Something for everyone is offered here !! Nice and quite and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. We had an issue with the dishwasher so paper plates came in handy. The ice maker on the lower level was a nice bonus too!!The owners were easy to work with and delivered our requested needs. We had plenty of bedroom space and plenty of towels to go around. Very nice pool towels as well. The garage game room was a big hit with all the kids-big and small!! The tennis courts and BB court were enjoyed as well. We will definitely revisit Blue Creek!!

Family is Everything!
This property was perfect for my siblings and spouses! We have never been anywhere that checked all the boxes! Plenty of beds, a table that sat 14 for dinner and games, and a gorgeous pool to relax and have fun in! We are checking dates to come back! Great property owners!

I would highly recommend staying at this property. The management was wonderful to work with- responded quickly to all of our questions. Pool was a hit for the kids The only negatives was kids couldn’t fish because we couldn’t get to pond and some of the games in the game room didn’t work

Such a fun getaway!

Weeklong getaway
It was a nice escape during the quarantine. Property was true to the pics, and Becky/Dave were extremely responsive and kind as hosts. As many have said before, the wifi is still quite poor, though they are working on improving it. The heated pool is great for kids. The basketball/tennis court is not a true hardcourt surface, rather some kind of tile, so while its not ideal it is playable. We also went fishing in the nearby lake. The house is in good condition and has more than enough entertainment options to keep everyone busy. Overall it exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Blue Creek! In addition to removing more than 17 trees to provide line of sight to the tower, we have confirmation from the provider that a new system is coming soon - and as soon as it is in we will update that on our webpage. The courts are usually a big hit with our guests. When we first designed it, the idea was to paint on top of the asphalt. After many hours of research my husband chose to purchase the sportscourt (versacourt) tiles to provide a gentle cushion for the sports enthusiasts. (and fewer booboos when little ones take a tumble). Glad to hear your little ones were able to enjoy it. We sincerely hope a return to Blue Creek is in your future and look forward to welcoming you and your family once again.
