"It is difficult to describe in few words how wonderful this little hotel is! The generous and kind owners have obviously put their heart and soul into the hotel providing the best service possible to their guests. Paul and Dean went above and beyond giving us the best experience of their hotel and Pitlochry. Their attention to detail is incredible, from amenities in the room, gorgeous toiletries and a special 'pantry' as well as providing superb gluten free and vegetarian alternatives at breakfast I have no hesitation in saying this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in!"

"Clean Room, but really loud noise when the people in the room above walked about really creaky floorboards , enjoyable stay but I dont think this is a Four star hotel as rated, bathroom door was in need of repair we stayed in room 159 Double de luxe, staff were very helpful"

"The room was lovely but no cleaner on our second day to empty bins or replenish teas and coffees etc. went out and bought my own. The restaurant staff were brilliant so efficient. The breakfast was good with enough choice for everyone. The only other problem was the room was on top floor which was not easy for my husband at 77 with a heart condition, apart from that we had a good stay "

"After vacationing in Scotland for 2 weeks and staying in multiple places, this was by far one of our favorites. Clean, safe, with great hospitality by the owner. Breakfast was great as well. It’s a fantastic house and is well maintained in a great location. I had researched this house before our trip, but booked it last minute based on our location at the time in Scotland. Very happy I was able to stay here and enjoy it. As a high Expedia user, I strongly recommend this place. "

"Fonab was ok,nothing special lights in bathroom were very poor,bedside lights weren't great i couldn't read my book with them,breakfast was mediocre definitely not as nice nor the quality compare to the last owners not good value for the money you pay."

"Bedroom was excellent, where the hotel falls down was the lounge area which lacked atmosphere and although you could purchase drinks, there was no bar…. and you were unable to see the staff pour. Tables and chairs very tightly packed together and not the most relaxing. Breakfast had a great choice of food but again tables very close together not much room to move between them. Staff were very friendly and pleasant."
