"Hidden gem for sure. House was beautiful and the property was stunning! We watched monkeys while drinking our morning coffee and there’s a beautiful cook shack to cook over the open fire. We also saw iguanas, squirrels and beautiful birds while walking around the property, looking at the waterfalls and river. Inside the house was just as beautiful. Rainfall shower head, beautiful wooden table and nice clean everything!!! "

"Staying at Maquenque Lodge was a pleasant surprise as staying in the middle of the rainforest was an unknown experience. The staff was very welcoming, there for all of your needs, and very helpful. The Wifi was outstanding throughout the property, AC units for the treehouses were perfect for the humid conditions and the jacuzzi was a fun bonus. Plenty of activities to do on your stay and be prepared to be doing lots of walking as houses are a bit away from restaurant.But, it's worth the hike as seeing many views and animals along the way. I would highly recommend Maquenque Lodge for anyone looking for that different type of adventure and experience."
