"This is a cute cottage. It is well appointed and decorated nicely. The beds are comfortable. We had a nice stay here. The only thing I feel it would be good to mention is the neighborhood is pretty close to the highway. It is quiet inside but in the outside spaces you can hear highway noise. It was still a nice place to stay though and the host was great with communication."

"A perfect peaceful getaway! This lovely place is in a great location. ..close enough to town for easy access, yet it feels completely tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The accommodation was clean and cozy, making it easy to relax. We also appreciated the extra little touches that made our stay feel special. Tim is a great host. Highly recommend. Highlight...we saw a young bear ran across the road."

"The cabin/house was perfect. We went tubing and went there for a fun birthday dinner and fire . The house was perfect for our group. Then the next day we went to downtown Black Mountain and what a great place to visit !! We would definitely go again!"

"We really enjoyed our time in this Black Mountain space! The beds were comfortable, the layout convenient for hosting multiple couples, and the space relaxing. The house is just a 5-minute drive from Black Mountain and an ~20-minute drive from downtown Asheville. The highway noise outside is not overwhelming, and completely inaudible within the house. We enjoyed the back deck for peacefully reading among the trees and the hot tub was a nice feature!This was one of the best-furnished vacation rental homes we've been to -- it felt lived-in and "real." The furniture was all very comfortable. The owner was also very responsive when we had a question.The ~150-yard driveway is quite steep at the end, but wasn't a problem, including to back down; with multiple cars, if driving in front-first, one would want to be careful about planning how to turn around at the bottom.We would be happy to visit again!"

"We didn't spend much time in the home due to our weekend plans but overall, everything was fine. The check-in and check-out were super simple. I appreciate not having a laundry list of things to do upon check out. The home was clean overall but items in the kitchen drawers, for example, were not as clean as I would like and many of the bath towels were on the older side, hence my rating of 4 for cleanliness. The fridge also had some produce items leftover from the previous occupants that I think should have been removed by the cleaning crew prior to our arrival. I couldn't find any bath towels but then discovered them in the dryer, again, something I think the cleaning crew should have handled prior to our arrival. The lighting was a bit difficult (some lights didn't work, some lights in the master bedroom were temperamental). Also, the floors upstairs are super creaky; our guests downstairs did mention to me that they were woken up by the upstairs noise. These are all small issues as we did have a satisfactory stay, I just wanted to provide the feedback."
