"A few complaints:The floors needed a much more thorough vacuuming.There was a suitable stock of kitchen supplies but there were no dish towels.The shower design is peculiar. The glass wall covers about 40% of the opening, leading to water spraying onto the bathroom floor. There were no hooks or bars to hang towels.A few compliments:Michael was responsive and did assist in remedying the problem of no working wireless service to this unit when we arrived - having us login to another unit's service.The balcony is a good size and provides nice view - especially for the recent Labor Day weekend fireworks.The kitchen area works well. Good set of appliances and dinnerware.We enjoyed the location - just a bit removed from the activity of HWY 42 (South Bay Shore Drive) - an easy walk to the beach / harbor park / stores / eateries...This is an ideal unit for two. The extra bed is rather small."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The lobby and room were both clean and inviting. I didn’t use the pool but lots of others were enjoying it. Two minor concerns: Arriving after dark, I found the sign difficult to see and had to retrace my path; I was also given an “accessible” room which left very little counter space in the bathroom and didn’t have a lid on the toilet. Both small but annoying features which I’m sure are good for wheelchairs, but not so much for me. I’d recommend it though!"

"The Country House Resort is a well maintained outstanding property! The room was large, clean, beds very comfortable and the view from the balcony was beautiful! The luxurious robe was much appreciated when we went to the hot tub but unfortunately the outdoor pool was all ready closed for the season. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety to choose from and included which was a nice surprise. I would definitely stay there again."

"The staff and room cleanliness couldn't have been better. It is an older Inn but maintained well. The location to downtown Sister Bay was good (< 1 mile). One of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed at. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. Would definitely stay there again."

"The communication with this property owner was quick and efficient. Very easy check-in and check-out instructions. Damage insurance deposit was required a few days prior. 60 non-refundable or 750 refundable that’s held for a few days after checkout.The house is truly beautiful both inside and out with the kitchen so well stocked with everything you need. The coffee bar was an excellent touch with fresh coffee and Pods. The back porch was beautiful with a large table to dine outside and a portable fire pit that you can sit around and enjoy on cool nights/days. Down the stairs from the back porch was a really nice fire pit for everyone to enjoy. Bring firewood.Upstairs has a king suite, and on the opposite side of the house is two (2) queen bedrooms with one full bathroom in between them (not attached).The basement has a bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom. Also downstairs is a large TV/seating area with a comfy sectional, blankets and decorated very tastefully. (Ping-pong table too!)The garage was not available for parking as described, though there is plenty of driveway parking available for four (4) vehicles.Grocery store 2 minutes away and plenty of shopping in the area.I would highly recommend this property and this host. We will definitely stay here again."

"We had a really nice time. The property was very clean , the bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and it was well stocked with cookware and the like . It’s advertised as a 4 bedroom but it definitely has 5, so we paid for more than what we needed. The basement was very cold which we were pre- warned by another review and used blankets and it was great for sleeping, but too cold during the day. We really wish it had a fire pit as we enjoyed sitting outside at night. Other than that it was great!"
