Shumard Cabin @ Guadalupe Mountains Campfire Adventure Ranch

8/10 Good
"The view is spectacular. The salt basin dunes were just 4 miles away. Driving the desert road to the cabin i saw many birds i would not have in a city. The changes in weather allowed me to see mountains in many different ways. I enjoyed the view every morning before heading out to Guadeloupe Mountains and every night before bed. Unfortuately it was pretty hot while there.(mid june) So the walk to and from the shower/toilet was really hot, and the water was pretty hot (which might be nice in the winter). But the cabin A/C kept me cool at night."
