"Staff was nice. The pool area has 2 slides that look like they would be a lot of fun but we came a little late in the season. The room was very nice and clean When we got to our room, 1 bed had no bedding on it, I went down to the office and they fixed it immediately and made it right. When things go wrong, sometimes it’s how the management handles it, is what really matters and they did a great job and handling the situation. This is the only hotel that is really extremely close to Carlsbad Tavern. Highly recommend it for that location, but bring snacks and beverages with you cause you’re not really gonna find much around."

"When I planned my trip to Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, I never expected to have Hurricane Polo impact my desert adventures... but it did... The heavy rains caused the housekeeper/cleaner to be flooded into her home. She did not completely finish cleaning the house by the time of my arrival. So I called the host who graciously arranged for the cleaning to be completed. Travelling is always an adventure!A farming community in a desert area can only be achieved with hard work, sacrifice, and love. It was obvious that this house grew with love and family. I would stay in this house if I pass this way again. I thank all the farms who work hard to provide food for all."

"The view is spectacular. The salt basin dunes were just 4 miles away. Driving the desert road to the cabin i saw many birds i would not have in a city. The changes in weather allowed me to see mountains in many different ways. I enjoyed the view every morning before heading out to Guadeloupe Mountains and every night before bed. Unfortuately it was pretty hot while there.(mid june) So the walk to and from the shower/toilet was really hot, and the water was pretty hot (which might be nice in the winter). But the cabin A/C kept me cool at night."

"A great place to stay and visit the National Parks close by. Comfortable, with useful amenities. Need to visit the grocery prior to your stay. Dell City is isolated. There is a small grocery and restaurant. Rustic comes to mind. Kelli was a wonderful and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay. "

"This was basically a pit stop for us on the way to Angel Fire. Even so, this was a very nice stay. The host was friendly and helpful, and the kids were surprised and enjoyed this being a Christian camp facility. Great place for a large group. Table seated all 16 of our party. Would stop here again!"
