"This was the PERFECT spot for our trip. The property was gorgeous, clean, and well thought out. Theres was so much space and the hot tub/sauna was a perfect touch. Check in/out was seamless and communication with the host was so easy. I’d gladly recommend this place for any big group wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Catskills!"

"As others have said, the room has a great vibe especially for couples, with its art and decor - Had a great stay. There was some confusion on Expedia whether this was the Highmount or Shandaken location about 8 miles away: The confirmation email from Expedia said "You're going to Shandaken!", when actually it was the Highmount lodge that I signed up for. Also a little misleading was Expedia's listing of the room as having 1.5 baths (with one description saying 2 bathrooms!) when the room only had one normal (but nice) bathroom - perhaps they meant that it had a bathtub/shower combo. Arriving after dark, it was a little hard to find the entry door to the second floor rooms - maybe having the room numbers on that outer door would help. None of that detracted from having a very enjoyable stay there."
