"We had a fantastic stay at Frank & Val's place on Heckman's Island. The river is so peaceful to wake up to at sunrise with the sound of loons, and we were also greeted each dawn by deer quietly roaming around the cottages. There were lots of great movies for the kids to enjoy, and we really appreciated all of the complimentary, organic & unscented amenities provided in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom.
