"We had a super three nights stay and the property had everything we needed. It was hot when we were there (heatwave), so we had to keep windows open overnight. Barking dogs from a distance away, so unavoidable, although annoying. Quite typical in rural Italy though. Owners friend, Monica, spoke very good English, sobwe had no problem communicating. Great find!"

"Great to have access to beach and lovely pool. Beautiful views from restaurant and site. All staff helpful and friendly. Bus from site ran every half hour including the afternoons which was useful in the August heat. Trips booked from site were fabulous. Compact accommodation as expected! "Great location. Downfall is the very weak wifi connection. If you’re planning to do work or access the internet during your stay, this isn’t the place to do it. The building has 2 washing machines and 1 dryer, which costs 2 euros per machine. There’s 1 clothing iron in the laundry room to share for the entire complex, which doesn’t work very well so we’d suggest bringing a travel steamer/iron. Overall, we had a good time. "

"We loved staying at MelRose Relais! The staff were all so welcoming, genuine and accomodating. When we arrived we were given a tour of the grounds and enjoyed a welcome drink by the pool bar. Rovatiana was so knowledgeable and shared some great recommendations with us. She arranged a scooter rental directly to the hotel which made getting around so easy. She also booked dinner for us at the restaurant. This was an incredible experience! We watched the sunset, had an almost private dining...

"We liked the view of mount vesuvius from our window. It was walking distance from the train station and to the entrance of the Pompeii ruins. There was a nice garden with loungers and hammocks across from the property with a small pool. We had a lovely time here. "
