"Perfectly clean and very well kept. Staff was super professional and nice. And good location - no stairs required! One recommendation - include a better description of the location. Literally say it is in the upper floors of Restaurant Forty Four and use that address. The street address on file is around the corner and not related."

"It was an excellent stay and the hosts were very helpful. The only caveat is finding a public parking nearby. If not, its a great choice. We'd love to go back soon!!!"

"Staff members are incredibly attentive. Breakfast on time everyday and delicious! Not to mention beautiful. Made us feel special. Two things they could improve: 1. Toilet paper holder fixed. Right now it sits on the counter and gets wet. Not sanitary either. 2. Better lighting in the bathroom such as a make up mirror. It was difficult to put makeup on with low light. Minor issues but both would improve the overall experience. "

"The kitchen was full equipped, room was clean and ample, and property itself was charming and in right inside the Old City, easy access to all major tourist points. Well maintained property, would absolutely stay here again. The owner Jon was easy to work with and incredibly attentive and responsive. (Only thing to note for travelers is that since this unique property is within the Old City, several stairs are involved in order to access)."

"Location inside the old town was excellent. The climb up one flight of stairs was very manageable. The walk with luggage from the Pile Gate was about five minutes. The offsite free parking is a bit unusual, but plan for it and it also works out well. "

"Fantastic little rental apartment situated steps (literally - be prepared to walk uphill!) from the old town. Lovely little patio overlooking the old city and the sea. Excellent communication by property manager. Parking available with the property via a separate entrance. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Bona Place is located in the heart of Old Town. The lovely apartment is comfortable with a sleeping loft and large bedroom. Our party had 3 guests. We had plenty of elbow room. Just outside the building is a large plaza filled with outdoor restaurants and a farmer’s market selling local produce. The harbor is a short walk from the apartment and the city gates. Jelena, the host, was wonderful. She was easy to reach and answered all our questions. I would stay at this property again!"

"The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and well appointed but the best part was the location. My only advice would be that if you have a large suitcase to enter through the Pile Gate and not the Buza Gate. It’s easier to walk a little farther than to go up and down the stairs near Buza. Fantastic stay! "

"Where do I begin? I had no idea I was booking the most gorgeous room in the most stunning building in a perfect location. Add to that an amazing staff! Shout out to Marin who greeted us at the old city’s gate and insisting on lugging our 4 large pieces to the hotel. Always a smile on his face, sweet, happy, and informative. The whole staff was great but unfortunately I don’t recall their names. I can’t wait to recommend to friends who are planning a trip to Croatia. ❤️"

"Comfortable property. It's important to understand the physical fitness required to stay inside the walled city of Dubrovnik. Climbing 100s of stairs on uneven surface without a handrail is required. Otherwise this is a tremendously fun way to visit Dubrovnik. We did have some rental communication difficulty resulting from a change in check in procedure while flying that did not reach us. "
