"The area is wonderful, the game drives were the highlight of our trip, we saw different animals on each ride. The lodge was good too, the staff was friendly, food was ok, it was a bit noisy to be in a room by the pool but there was no option to select the room location on Expedia. Inside it was a bit dated and there were bugs (but it is in the wilderness so hard to keep them out). There were elephants coming almost to the restaurant which was amazing to see them right there. The entire idea to put this lodge at edge of the park is brilliant, it was a great experience overall "

"What an amazing experience. The lodge is beautiful-including great upgrades such as an infinity pool and wellness spa all nestled in a picture perfect bushveld setting. Every single member of staff were incredible. They were so friendly and helpful, always wanting to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We thank them for all that they did for us. And special thanks to Dolfi our guide who took us around the reserve on our game drives. His energy and passion made every second special. Not only did we see such amazing animals, but Dolfi also took time to share in the conservation efforts and the spectacular plants and wildlife. "Game rangers Neil and newly appointed Carel were fantastic. They are so passionate about their jobs and so knowledgeable. We had wonderful game drives with fabulous sightings of 4 of the Big Five. The leopard alluded us despite Neil and Carel's best efforts. Only small criticism is that lighting in the lounge of the Executive Suite was poor. It was impossible to read or play cards in the evening. The room needs better lighting. A fantastic stay though. Highly recommended. "
