"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not high enough for a Sunday/Monday evening stay, so it makes sense. Highly recommend the Morris Estate, would love to come back and stay with a few other couples!"

With 10 adults and 10 grandchildren, we had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time there. "We had a nice vacation at the St. Joe Overlook. The pool and hot tub were great. There were lots of fun outdoor games available at the property. The house had everything we needed for our family. Our only concern was it was difficult to get the kayaks in and out of the river due to a fallen tree and no dock. Only one of the four people planning to kayak went out. It was a plus that this house was pet friendly. Evan and Claire were great hosts and responded to our questions quickly."
