We really enjoyed our short visit in Duck Duck Goose. The location and amenities were great, and Barbara was quick to respond to my questions. We would definitely consider staying here again!
My kids loved going down by the water to fish when we had down time. The place was super clean and they make great use of the space. It is a great location. We would stay here again.
This was our first time to Pigeon Forge and the house we selected was FANTASTIC!!! Duck, Duck, Goose is in a great location, quiet...except for some geese, but it is in the name....LOL! We will definitely be back and hopefully staying in this property again soon!!!
We enjoyed our stay at Thanksgiving. The cabin was very clean. Had all the cooking utensils we needed. Was in a nice location. Loved the Little Pigeon river so close to the cabin. The gas grill was out of gas but maintenance brought gas out in about an hr. All in all a very nice place to stay.
We’ve been on many vacations/getaways, but this was by far the best experience. The cabin was SO clean, and it had everything you could possibly need/want. You literally need to take nothing but clothes! It was beautifully decorated inside, and the location was perfect. We can’t wait to return next year! 10/10 recommend this cabin!
The cabin was the perfect location. The water was clear, great for mornings just sitting on porch with your coffee and listening to the water flowing. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. My questions were answered when something came up. I would highly recommend.
The cabin was very clean, neatly put together and in a great location. Biggest issue was seating in the cabin. While the living room area was small, they could have a full size love seat, couch, or recliners. Very small couches.
Would stay again for sure. Have rented from the large company and they do not take pride like this cabin did.
This property is perfectly located. It is secluded enough to feel away from the hustle of the strip in pigeon forge, but yet just moments away from it. The property is well maintained, everything was neat, clean and exactly as described. The daily visits from ducks and geese became something that I looked forward to. The owners are very organized, prompt, friendly and invested in you enjoying your time. I will definitely return and encourage others to book as well.
Cabin was very clean inside. Beds was very comfortable, they had everything that you will need in the kitchen to cook. They only thing that was wrong was on the back up porch it had alot of spider webs and the outside furniture had needed to get spray down from bird mess. But it didn't took from the over all.I will Definitely be staying there again.
We had a great stay at this property. It was just as described, was well-stocked with everything practical and cozy you might need, and was lovely all around.
The cabin lived up to its name - ducks and geese greeted us outside each day and the sound of the river was so nice :)
Location was away from the main parkway that goes through Pigeon Forge so it was quiet and peaceful, but close enough to attractions, shopping, groceries that it was easy to get to those things when you wanted. It was a short ride to Gatlinburg and SMNP as well, and we went there often.
Only thing that would have made it better would have been a booklet or guide onsite to explain basics like fireplace and hot tub operation, recycling and garbage placement, etc. We figured all that out in the end, but it would hav been great to have some kind of guide so we didn't have to bother the owner, etc. No biggie :)
There was a power outage one night so we contacted the owner. She responded asap and then contacted the power company to alert them about the outage. It was fixed in about 3 hours which was great.
Decided to leave a few days early due to Hurricane Helene approaching, so we didn't have a chance to use the fire pit area, but it was a great amenity.
We are looking forward to coming back and having a "do-over" since the storm cut our trip short. would definitely recommend this place. It was beautiful and we (me, my husband and two teenage daughters) were very comfortable :)

When I booked this cabin, I was so excited! A place for my husband and our 2 boys.
When I saw the pictures when I booked, I could see the fishing, the putting our feet in the water on a hot day, etc….
However, I feel the pictures need to be updated. I know the sides will erode away and such because of Mother Nature but it was not a simple walk to the water. There are rocks and we would climb down but there was poison ivy growing up out of the rocks by the river. There was also poison ivy growing right off the concrete pad and my hubby smashed it u see the rocks since he’s highly allergic. We think there could have been more comfy chairs on the deck besides bar stools. But it worked and we would drink coffee and watch the wildlife (geese, beaver, ducks, small fish, cardinals galore and squirrels…)
Inside: it was semi clean. We rewashed all the dishes due to tons of food being stuck on the pans & utensils. Everything was definitely cleaner when we left than when we got there. Some remotes didn’t have batteries and we couldn’t find any so we had to buy some. When I booked, there was a much nicer couch that my youngest was planning on sleeping on but when we got there, it was a tiny loveseat that was not durable enough to sleep on. So we had to go buy an air mattress. The master fan made some serious clicking noises. We switched the speeds and it just kept getting worse. So we had to go buy a fan. I feel it needs more presence from the owners to stay on top of maintenance!
Cozy cabin. Very responsive owner. Nice outdoor space, FLAT ROAD to cabin (no mountain climbing or steep roads), so close to main strip but you would not know it as it seems very much a cabin with a more camp ground feel. This cabin does not disappoint!
We love the cabin the location was great I really love my morning coffee on deck watching the ducks and geese bathing and playing it was so peaceful I could have just stay in the cabin the whole time.
This was our second stay at Duck Duck Goose, and once again it exceeded our expectations. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and quick to respond, which makes the experience even better. The location is unbeatable—close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, yet peaceful and surrounded by nature. The cabin is always spotless and well maintained, and we love waking up each morning to see the wildlife. The easy drive with no steep roads is a huge plus. Overall, we absolutely love this place and can’t wait to return.
We loved our stay at Duck Duck Goose. The cabin is charming and cozy, and we loved being right on the river. It was great being close to everything we wanted to do while still being off the beaten path a little. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets. We did some laundry while we were there, which was a nice amenity to have. The dryer vent may need to be cleaned out by professionals because clothes took a long time to dry. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, and we would definitely stay there again.
