"Maria and Nadia were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast offered many choices. Nadia’s homemade breakfast cakes were delicious. A great place to stay just outside the walled historic city of Lucca. "

"We arrived in the evening, and had a bit of a challenging checking in. I would advise to have someone who is a native Italian speaker join you to communicate with the staff. We were moved to another guesthouse as there was a mix up with our reservation, which they apologized for. Property was clean and mostly quiet. Some of the other guests were quite noisy during the night, but that was only one night where we had this issue. All the instructions are in Italian, so be sure to have a translate...

"Roberta was extremely accommodating and helpful. They have bikes that can be used to ride the walls of Lucca. Great experience for those that have never done it. "

"This is a very old, but quaint property. The room was large and the en suite bathroom was also large. We arrived just after a snow storm. The village and surrounding area was beautiful. The house was almost as warm as te welcome and friendliness of Mario the owner. "

Employees were excellent, restaurant is good and an excellent pool just 10 km away from the center of Lucca. The area around the hotel is agricultural, in a boring way. Don’t expect the tipical Tuscan vistas here! "
