"Great location within a small square with cafes, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Public car park next to hotel which is free from 19:00 - 09:15 and not expensive during other times. We didn’t book breakfast but decided to have it. Such a good decision as breakfast was really good with almost too much of a selection. Pastries, breads, cereals, cheeses, hams, salmon, eggs, bacon, juices and much more."

"Nous sommes arrivés en pleine canicule et nous avons eu la bonne surprise de voir que l'ensemble de la maison était équipée de clim ! À nous des bonnes nuits de sommeil. La maison est conviviale, la cuisine est bien équipée, et la communication avec la propriétaire hyper efficace. Je recommande à 100% ! Le village de Chinon est en plus très mignon."

"The Hotel is located over the river from Chinon, so a good location for visiting the town and exploring the area. There are 3 parking places outside the hotel but there is a secured off-site car park for hotel guests a short distance away. We visited during the very hot weather in June 26 and our room was very warm at night as a consequence, an electric fan is provided which we had running all night. The breakfast is traditional French fare and very good quality. There is also a courtyard garden which is ideal for relaxing in or taking your breakfast. There is a wide choice of restaurants available in Chinon and we used Bistrot Fauve in the main square, which is associated with the hotel."

"Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The garden is very relaxing.. The kitchen is fully equipped and all features of the rental were up to date and of good quality. The historic district is a 10-15 walk using the bridge across the Vienne river. The market on Saturday at Jeane (Joan) of Arc Place is great fun, with a wonderful selection of fresh produce,cheeses and meats. The Royal Fortress is a easy 20 - 25 minute walk, a must do. We had a good experience visiting Couly -Dutheil winery.The third bedroom is located on 3rd, 43 steps up and it main bedroom, very nice space. Parking is a bit of challenge and typically we parked on the other side of the bridge on Quai Danton 5-10 minute walk, no fee for overnight. We definitely would stay here again. Good value for the money."
