"The hotel is a lovely historical motel. Very good value with the free breakfast. Gulgong is a great little town. The motel's cafe/restaurant Larsens serves delicious food. My husband and I had the grilled salmon which came with chips and salad. One of the best meals while on our road trip. Hope to return one day"

"Room was wonderful reception staff were awesome the whole vibe was calm,relaxed and welcoming . Short walk into town great cafe on site for breakfast or lunch . Art gallery across the road with a pub around the corner however Kelly’s was the place to have dinner in Mudgee. "

"Some ventilation in the bathroom as its a family size room and there is no privacy to dress in the bathroom cause its far to hot and steamy."

"Big W is straight across the road, yet it is so quiet you hear no traffic in this small town. It’s in the best spot to everything,including clubs, pubs. "

"The Horatio Suites Hotel is a lovely renovated property in Mudgee. The rooms are spacious and include a balcony, which is a great feature. However, it was disappointing that there were no chairs provided on the balcony, we had to drag one from inside to enjoy it. We were also a little let down that the hotel didn’t acknowledge our anniversary; a small gesture such as a late checkout, a complimentary drink, or even a simple note would have been a nice touch, particularly as it’s not on the cheaper side of hotels in Mudgee. Saying that, we would stay there again."
