"Lovely place to stay near Park Guel. It retains it's old fashioned feel but with some extra touches.
Buffet breakfast is available 24/7 if one is a little peckish.
There is a nice veranda at the front to sit ot and read or relax. The only minor issue is that since it's a period property the doors to rooms aren't airtight so you can hear if other people come in late at night but no one came in too late or was to noisy and it's on a hill so every walk back burns off a few extra calories. Staff were really helpful with check in and cafes & supermarkets nearby.
Ideal for a short break for singles or a couple."
"Very nice staff. I do not speak any Spanish besides Hola and they still understand me. They are very respectful. The restaurant is good and the staff is great. They will charge everything to your room and you can buy snacks etc. They have a nice area where you can sit outside and smoke and relax. They also have a rooftop area with tables where you can also smoke and eat if you like. The sunset from the rooftop is beautiful. It is called a solarium which you take the elevator that says solarium to go to. It is a short walk to get to the mall and restaurants. There is a busstop there, but. They do offer Dove bodywash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. You use your keycard and put in a space on the inside by the door to keep the electricity in the room working. This is a genius idea to save wasted electricity. If you want to be directly in Barcelona this is not the best place to stay if you don't have a car. If you get a taxi from the airport (which is super simple to get, you go to the taxi area and stand in line. Then make sure they are aware which Holiday Inn and that they undstand the address."
"Hotel Ronda Lesseps was a great experience. Clean and staff was exceptional in every regard. Close by to walking locations and easy to take the METRO. Alexandra the front desk staff was very helpful and understood our request and was able to help us out with respect and promptness. Def recommend this property. "
