"We’ve stayed here a couple of times before & have always been happy with everything. Our room was very clean, air conditioner great & definitely kept the room lovely & cool. Parking was secure, right outside our door. I would stay there again. There was only one clothes hanger in our wardrobe so I would have liked a few more & a full sized ironing board as it was very difficult ironing the clothes on the benchtop one supplied. The Ashwood is across the road from Gosford RSL so is very convenient for an evening meal."

"Perfect for our 4 night stay. Welcoming staff.Room comfortable size with ample storage/hanging space. Comfortable bed good shower ,microwave, toaster and kettle in room.The large communal kitchen and TV room was a great bonus. I used it to prepare my breakfast, hubby used the supplied cereals bread butter and spreads for his. Cooking appliances utensils crockery etc all available. Also great vantage point for the water view. The ability to reach bathroom hooks easily, they are usually way too high for a short person, the provision of bottled water each day all contributed to an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Parking was limited as open to the general public as well. Check in was done at the bar which was a bit strange. The sports bar was packed and quite rowdy but the other bar and restaurant area was lovely. The bedroom was dated and basic but very clean. We had an ensuite bathroom which was fairly new and spotless. "

"The Japanese restaurant was disappointing but I guess for Gosford it was ok.. The mattress and pillows are too soft, you sink after an hour or so. Loved the pool but it’s windy, I would recommend them to enclose it. You can only use it in summer really. The first room we got had cockroaches and they gave us another room in the middle of the night which was kind of them. I would recommend getting the bottom floors in case you get a false fire alarm like we did and have to run out the hotel at 10pm in pyjamas. I would like robes in the rooms especially for emergencies like false fire alarm. Loved the hair dryer and iron- nice touch . The aircon at night is really loud and there is no silence mode and there is no Flyscreens. It was hard to sleep I guess it was because of the 5G towers that are not far (across the road) Overall we had a good time and for the area I think it is ok. The best thing was the Nepalese restaurant that was walking distance, they had really nice food."

"We loved our stay here. Everything was clean, well stocked and it was located in the heart of Gosford, with a 7 minute walk to the train station. Only suggestion would have been to have a second set of keys and fob to make coming in and out easier for our party. "

"Old style facility, biscuits with tea. has a kettle, toaster and microwave in room. Tap hard to turn off (so dribbles). and seems to not have a high-temp set, nearly scolded myself in shower. Does seem to provide access to many streaming services, but some then stopped so not sure if timed. "

"I reckon every time house keeping comes in they should replace towels and sheets , as we stayed for more then 3 nights and noticed the first time they came in they used the same sheets. We knew it was the same sheets because we took them off the first night and left it on the floor and we came back and noticed the same sheets were on the bed. Besides that we enjoyed our stay staff were very friendly and welcoming, Will definitely be back in the future. "
